У класичному DOOM 64 - 1997р. у секретних кімнатах — броня, набої та зброя. А в Shadow Warrior 1997р. у секретках — голі дівчата. Класна гра :)

"Shadow Warrior" is a cult classic that has aged pretty well. The game is heavily inspired by 90's action movies like "Big Trouble In Little China". There are a lot of pop culture references to 90's media. The game shares its' engine with other classics like "Duke Nukem 3D" and "Blood". So if you are into these kind of boomer shooters you will probably enjoy it. But be warned: there is a lot of switch hunting and some of the locations of the key cards are hidden better than secret areas. This is especially the case for the two official expansions "Wanton Destruction" and "Twin Dragon". The humor in the game is pretty hit or miss. Most jokes are very immature or edgy. So if you are easily offended: keep in mind that the game is nearly 30 years old. What's important to me: the level design and game play still hold up. The designers obviously had a lot of fun coming up with ideas for the maps. The "Classic Redux" port is pretty competent now. For a long time the version of "Twin Dragon" that was included had a game breaking bug that made some levels almost unplayable. Fortunately this is fixed now. So this is currently pretty much the best version of "Shadow Warrior" if you want to play it on a modern system.
Still good despite all those years. Long ago was able to run this one on super old Nokia N82 without much issues. Made on same engine as Duke Nukem 3D. Plenty of weapons, swords and nasty enemies. Levels are really good, it's hard to not enjoy them, also looking for secrets - sometimes nearly impossible to find without a guide. It's gonna be in the top tier of 90s FPS along with Doom, Quake, Nukem.
I finished this game years ago and HAD to have it again. With both add on packs (one which is extremely RARE) this game is complete! I've never laughed so hard at a Duke Nukem 3D clone in my life until I played this game. This game directly uses the Duke Nukem 3D engine and this game was the result. You play as Lo Wang whom was wronged by the Zilla Corporation so Wang takes it upon himself to go after Zilla himself. You go from place to place looking for clues to the whereabouts of Zilla but no matter where Wang goes he cannot seem to catch up to him. So in the process you travel from place to place fighting Zilla's goons. Some of them are easy, some are not. A sword, gun and sticky bombs are a few of the items you'll use to get through the ruckus to finally reach your destination and fight Zilla himself and it's a great battle. Worth your time. Some of the things Wang says will have you laughing such as "Oh look! Sticky bomb like you!" Then in a few seconds you watch one of Zilla's goons explode. There are also some more raunchy things he says with hidden places that are just the same. I never found this game to be of poor taste no matter where I traveled. The levels are long, fun and tough. Just finding the keys for certain doors can be a real chore before you can get to another area. Tricks and traps are along the way to stop you. If you loved Duke Nukem 3D, you'll LOVE this game. Personally I find this game much more fun than the latter. Trust me, if you haven't played this classic, you have NO IDEA what FPS is. I highly recommend this game to anyone! After all these years I am STILL WAITING FOR A PART TWO. Wouldn't that be sweet!
Amazing port of a 1997 DOS game. One of the Build Engine Trio and my personal favorite. The music, gameplay and guns are on point! I even found use in just wasting the shuriken to hit explosives without using up precious ammo. Beat both the original campaign as well as Twin Dragon and Wanton Destruction on the "No Pain No Gain' difficulty and had a blast. I recommend giving a listen to tracks like "Shadow Raver" and "Everybody Off!". Lee Jackson is truly in his element here, and I often found myself lowering the SFX just to hear his compositions more. If only the multiplayer still worked. Not a bad experience at all though! Would play again for some 90s boomer shooter fun. 9.5/10!
Fix your game. It won't load and i've tried all sorts of stuff to get it to work.
some say duke is better but did duke shoot a nuke out of his rocket launcher? if you're Asian you'll love this if you're not you will still love it second best of the build engine
