Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun

I love tactics style games. I love Japan. So what could go wrong. STORY: It is here. Pretty straightforward but also draws you in. There is a moment that will hopefully resound deep to the players, especially if you are invested with what happens to the characters. The individual playable characters themselves, still have much room to explore their own stories but the existing story feels enough to get you invested in them. GAMEPLAY: I enjoyed the gameplay. Was it hard. Somewhat. Even on lowest difficulty, some missions can be challenging. Some situations can be cheesed. But for someone who likes challenges, the game has that in spades. The badges and achievements that you can earn, some of them are pretty hard to do. But for casual gamers who do not have the time and just want the story and experience of playing the game, it is here as well. And the different characters and the how unique each of them play, also adds to the possible different solutions to approach a situation which also adds to the game's replayability. VISUALS: The game looks good. It does look like the Edo period (Granted I am not an expert). The characters are very unique to each other even looks very different from one another. OVERALL: I would recommend this to players who like strategy games. It is simple enough for casuals and can be challenging to 100% for those hardcore gamers. And with a story that makes sense for the era and is somewhat believable, I am very much happy to play and recommend this gorgeous game.
