Shadow King

A cute, short metroidvania with some challenge to it. Perfect as a palate cleanser or a to add a stand-alone burst of gameplay to your evening.

Short and sweet. Not really much more to say.

I'm grateful for bite-sized games, and this one packs a lot into less than two hours. Varied environments with light backtracking, multiple bosses, new weapons and traversal abilities. There's just enough challenge to the combat and platforming to stay interesting, and the checkpoints are generous. A well designed and executed little gem.

A wonderful, bite-sized Metroidvania. What a great way to spend an hour

An excellent, but extremely short (100% in around 40 minutes) metroidvania. The controls are simple and responsive while the game play gets a surprising amount of mileage out of a limited number of mechanics. It's probably not a good buy in terms of time/money but it really is quality and supporting solo devs is fun. I really hope to see a move expansive version of this from Apskeppet in the future.

Un metroidvania compacto, simple, pero lleno de carisma, hay un par de niveles que son especialmente crueles con el timming que hay que tener con el personaje, pero en general es una experiencia pequeña y redonda, tal vez no sea un juego ideal a full price, pero con un descuento no lo dejes perder!!!

Juego bonito y corto, pero tiene un pequeño problema. Los controles. Demasiadas teclas para hacer la misma cosa. En cuanto empieces, cambiate la tecla de flecha arriba a otro lugar o vas a morirte de forma tontísima por haber dado mal los saltos

Loved the game! Cute art, good mechanics and puzzles! Just wish there was more game and bosses.
