C'est une ode aux nerds puceaux et en chaleur, un hommage plein d'auto-dérision aux malheureux pas assez cool pour décrocher le moindre rencard. Le jeu empile les clichés mais s'en amuse au lieu de les prendre au sérieux. Mieux encore, il pousse le bouchon tellement loin qu'il accouche de scènes et de transformations absolument WTF. Tout est volontairement excessif, au point de devenir un gag en soi, à commencer par la tête de notre héros, son look guindé, sa transpiration facile et ses grosses lunettes carrées, qui en fait la meilleure victime de ses propres désirs. Notre Marty est benêtement amoureux, mais sa candeur ne suffit pas à contrer ses hormones : il a envie de percuter tout ce qui bouge, à commencer par sa merveilleuse propriétaire, ce cliché de MILF américaine maternante, dont le jeu s'amuse à faire monter en permanence la tension sexuelle jusqu'au fameux 'turn on' et pour laquelle Marty se transformera contre son gré en dildo géant (en prenant soin de garder ses lunettes et son noeud papillon). Et c'est précisément ce second degré qui désamorce tout et permet au jeu d'être sexuellement très frontal. Son absurdité puise dans la culture nerd et les buddy movies les plus joyeusement idiots des années 90. Le gameplay reste celui d'un AVN classique, construit autour d'une boucle temporelle qu'il faut rejouer pour débloquer une multitude de scènes et de personnages — et le créateur ne s'est clairement pas montré avare en contenu. L'intrigue à tiroirs n'a rien d'exceptionnel, certaines scènes sont à rejouer x fois, certes, mais les situations qui se débloquent ont toutes le potentiel de surprendre. Quand Marty se fait victimiser, c'est toujours à la limite de la drôlerie, et souvent très excitant. Les ressorts narratifs sont régulièrement cartoonesque, sans que ça empêche pas les scènes d'être clairement explicites, le seul (gros) bémol étant l'absence de son émis par les personnages lors de ces scènes "d'action". Mais ne vous méprenez pas : avec son anti-héros à la fois libidineux et profondément amoureux auquel on s'attache, son vilain encore plus nerd que Marty et franchement tête à claque, c'est un jeu qui cache une certaine tendresse pour les boutonneux fans de star wars, les rejetés qui se consolent devant les gardiens de la galaxie, les introvertis fleurs bleues qui ont leur corbeille remplie de sopalin usagé. Et qui parle de cette quête et angoisse de "la première fois" de façon plus intelligente (et critique) qu'il en a l'air. Marty se met une sacrée pression l'air de rien. Et son amoureuse Bailey permet d'apporter un contrepoint féminin à cette "pression" de la première fois. Franchement, pour une fois qu'un jeu de ce genre assume pleinement son côté absurde au lieu de se prendre terriblement au sérieux, tout en offrant une telle quantité de contenu et du drama qui tourne à la farce permanente, ça mérite d'être souligné. Sortez vos mouchoirs ! P.S. : Je serais curieux d'avoir un point de vue féminin sur ce jeu, pour voir si son côté grotesque et volontairement too much est perçu comme tel ou si, au contraire, il le rend franchement malaisant. ---------------- 🇬🇧 English This game is a farce—and I mean that as a compliment! It piles cliché upon cliché, but instead of taking them seriously, it gleefully makes fun of them. Better yet, it pushes everything so ridiculously far that it gives birth to scenes and transformations that are completely WTF. Everything is intentionally over the top, to the point where the excess itself becomes the joke. Our hero is the first victim of it all. Marty, with his stiff wardrobe, nervous sweating, oversized square glasses and terminal dork energy, is practically the embodiment of his own frustrated fantasies. He's hopelessly, almost goofily in love, but innocence alone isn't enough to keep his hormones in check: he'd gladly smash just about anything that moves, starting with his wonderful landlady—the quintessential nurturing American MILF. The game constantly teases that inevitable "turn-on" moment, and at one point Marty even ends up transformed, against his will, into a giant dildo... while somehow keeping his glasses and bow tie on. And it's precisely this relentless tongue-in-cheek approach that defuses everything, allowing the game to be sexually very explicit without ever feeling self-important. Its absurdity draws equally from nerd culture and the gloriously idiotic buddy comedies of the '90s. The gameplay follows the classic AVN formula, built around a time loop you'll replay repeatedly to unlock a huge amount of scenes and characters—and the developer has clearly been anything but stingy with the content. The overarching plot isn't particularly remarkable, and yes, some scenes have to be replayed multiple times, but the situations you eventually unlock almost always manage to surprise. Whenever Marty gets humiliated, it's balanced right on the edge between hilarious and incredibly hot. The storytelling often embraces full cartoon logic without toning down the explicit scenes; the only major downside is that the characters remain completely silent during those "action" sequences. But don't be fooled. Beneath the absurdity lies a game with genuine affection for its characters. Between its lovable anti-hero—equal parts hopeless romantic and hopeless horndog—and its antagonist, who's somehow an even bigger nerd than Marty and wonderfully punchable, this is a game that has real tenderness for acne-covered Star Wars fans, social outcasts who comfort themselves by rewatching Guardians of the Galaxy, and hopeless romantics whose bedroom trash can is overflowing with used tissues. More importantly, it talks about the longing—and the anxiety—surrounding "the first time" with far more intelligence (and self-awareness) than you'd expect. Marty quietly puts an enormous amount of pressure on himself, while Bailey provides a welcome female counterpoint to that very anxiety. Honestly, it's refreshing to see a game in this genre fully embrace its absurdity instead of taking itself ridiculously seriously, while still delivering this much content and turning every bit of drama into yet another joke. That alone deserves recognition. Grab some tissues! P.S. I'd genuinely be curious to hear a woman's perspective on this game. Does its grotesque, intentionally over-the-top humor come across as exactly that, or does it end up making the whole experience genuinely uncomfortable instead?

It's okay. The actual action is minimal and mostly two or three frames going back and forth when there's anything going on.
