Disclaimer: This game does NOT have deep simulation like Dwarf Fortress or Rimworld. It's similar, but the simulated elements are very simple in comparison. It's a survival settlement-builder with the goal of "beating" an individual world in 8-12 hours of gameplay.

When resources grow scarce, explore your surroundings for more. Encounter other settlements and deal with them using diplomacy or hostility.

After this summers marathon of AI slop, one of my first thoughts were that this must be another one. It works decently well though and has an actual functional UI so there's that. But it's so incredibly tedious and boring, it's like an incremental game without any dopamine triggers at all. The UIX is practically non existant because the best way to play this game is to know you got the basic needs met so your village won't starve, then leave it running for hours on end, return and add a few more bits and pieces so the next ardeous grind of resources can begin. Production and processing is also incredibly uneven - designed around "It is possible to get infinite resources" when it comes to building pricetags yet there is no guarantee that even the most prosperous world generation provides you with enough of that resource to get to the infinite stage. It has solid pathing and a certain cutsey charm, but as many others also point out - no depth whatsoever. No driving force, no joy, no "Oh yes, the next thing!" just a grind that makes the old MMO experimental days look good.
Steep but Fast learning curve. good mindful fun

Ich finde das Spiel unglaublich mitreißend und gleichzeitig sehr beruhigend. Ich hoffe, dass in Zukunft noch viele spannende Neuerungen dazukommen.
It was pretty good but a little short. The last start was more of a time soak than a challenge. Overall though I enjoyed it. Given how new it is, I didn't have any bugs that I can recall.
Slow, grinding, and boring. Unfinished UI, unfinished game, unfinished core gameplay, and dumb NPCs
The game has a big potential and is enjoyable in the early stages. However, once your settlement reaches around 1,500–2,500 inhabitants, the balance completely falls apart. Residents suddenly start consuming way more medicine than food. At that point, the entire gameplay devolves into a constant struggle to supply medical resources, forcing you to abandon everything else. It honestly feels like a bug - even with maximum immunity, the required food-to-medicine ratio hit 1 : 1.5 (over 2k medicine per day). After making few annexy its very chaotic and repeatable. Great potential, but it severely needs a balance overhaul for the late game - not ready yet.
Cute and Fun game. But Personally, even on easy its a little overwhelming. If you discover a colony, they instantly demand stuff you cant even efficiently collect. It states 3 days or so to collect, but it gets rejected the first day. The Settlers get tired way too quick and rest at 12 pm and you have to wait till next day. New settlers are so expensive, a few more basic settlers would balance that. Resources are spread way to thin all over and i have to destroy my buildings constantly, i feel like the refund isn't even worth destroying. Navigation is expensive and difficult to obtain in the beginning and such a small exploration radius, not only is it destroyed but again, the refund is eh. I think its a working progress. RICK, i BELIEVE IN YOU! You got something cool going on here, keep it up!
