Good short game! I didn't enjoy Iron Lung much, but this worked for me. +++ Gently spooky, good voice acting, decent PSX style. --- Navigation in tight spaces sometimes annoying
The game is okay, but for the price, I would expect a bit more. The plot isn't very elaborate, and I feel unsatisfied after finishing it. The concept for the game is quite interesting and unique; it's definitely a game whose mechanics I'll remember for a long time. The game defends itself primarily with its visual and graphic design. Overall, the game doesn't blow me away, but it has its strong points. If you want to experience something new, this is the product for you.
Underrated horror game. Amazing atmosphere with a great story to go with it definitely a steal for 5 bucks
ok but its a short game.
Good concept, poor controls. I was down for the horror, but man I hated the driving. In order to move the car, I felt like I had to smash my character's face into the different levers, seeing only a tiny fraction of the front window. It also had to be controlled with a mouse, so not only do I have to turn the thing blind, but I also have to constantly pull away from it to turn the various knobs. This wouldn't be so bad if there weren't so many challenges where you have to weave your way through narrow passageways. SO hard to control this game! Which is a shame, because it has atmosphere for DAYS. Genuinely got scared by just the trees and atmosphere, which is so well done! I just wish I could actually move in a way that I got to see it all!
akin to games like iron lung...heck, i found it to be more entertaining than iron lung. that being said, neither game was enough to capture my fancy. its not to say that this is a bad game, its well-crafted and seems to be executed well. i was hoping for a more narrative based adventure. instead, this game seems to be more about maintaining one's tediously designed (but that's the point) vehicle (like iron lung) rather than the more straightforward dialogue-heavy game (something more akin to "that which gave chase") that i was expecting. not my cup of tea. nevertheless, i acknowledge definitely see the value, potential, and craft behind the experience. hence the positive review despite the brief playtime and (pending?) refund.
An interesting and short horror trek. The atmosphere is forboding, and the vehicle is claustrophobic. Overall, a good time.
Great example of that clunky-vehicle style that's still nice to control. Gets the feeling across without being frustrating. Sufficient, straightforward lil spooky romp. Most fo the time subtle with the scares.
Excellent atmosphere--It does not outstay its welcome. Though it has a basic scary campfire-tier plot.
it's fine, just wish there was more to it. you know what's gonna happen as soon as you see 1 tree man and it's just a matter of getting there. maybe if there were more doohickey controls, having a lever or two is nice, but we need a big wheel to spin and some kinda chain hanging for the ceiling to pull, cause this was just mildly awkward to drive, but it could have been so much worse, could have been an absolute contraption
