Very good 3D puzzler with a nice soundtrack and really cool art. I didn't buy this for the story but it's become a reason for me to come back to this game again and again. My spatial thinking is definitely not good enough yet to keep up with the increasing difficulty of the levels, but I think I'm getting there. There's also a variety of boosters you can use that seem really helpful. But alas, I'm a stubborn blockhead that doesn't use boosters on principle, so I wouldn't know. I really enjoy this game, even though I still fail the non-standard levels quite often.
A good, challenging puzzle game that does not benefit from added restrictions and leaderboard obsession.
This ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. This ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME. Now this was a remarkable puzzle game. It was easily the most frustrating puzzle game I've ever had the pleasure of playing, and I absolutely loved it. WHAT IT DO : You have a collection of base shapes, such as cubes or dodecahedrons, which form various larger 3D structures. The object is to rotate this 3D structure such that it can fit into a hole which it is steadily, almost imperceptibly moving towards. Think of it like shining a light at the ground so that your shape makes a certain shadow, and rotating it so that the shadow matches the pattern given. Except there's a time limit. Or you only have a certain amount of rotation you can perform before it locks up. Or sometimes both of these things. And also each level has multiple phases and they keep adding more and more of the base shape to your object, changing the shadow it can make. Also everything is randomized so you'll never get the same setup twice. Oh and the boss-mode fights have a second timer you have to beat across all phases, and everything is wireframe and terrible. And also there is a
secret world, and a secret level to the secret world, and secret mandatory bonus rounds on several of the final puzzles, because ♥♥♥♥ you apparently
. THE BAD Really there's not a whole lot to criticize. The story is remarkably generic and terribly edited, grammatically speaking. The overuse of secret achievements, driven primarily by
the aforementioned secret level and secret shenanigans
was kind of annoying, especially if you're trying to budget your time to reach the climax of the game on a particular sitting and have your plans ruined because
oh look [strike]29[/strike] 30 new levels to deal with
. But that's kind of a niche concern, so not really a big deal? THE GOOD Everything else. The music is as far as I can remember just the same couple of things over and over, but it's dramatic enough and loops well enough to not be an issue. The splash art is decent, if somewhat repetitive as they use a few images more than once. And the gameplay is flawless. Absolutely frustrating, but wtf are you playing a hardmode puzzle game with a time limit for if not to get at least a little frustrated? The mechanics, multiple base-shapes, and exciting boss levels are simply incomparably good. I would absolutely recommend this game to people looking for a more hardcore puzzle experience. This is no slow-and-cerebral Hexcells or adventurous philosophical romp like The Talos Principle, this is a race against time to solve a seemingly-endless series of spacial-orientation puzzles the likes of which you've never experienced. You have seconds to identify the most salient features of your 3D shape, and a few seconds more to get it into position, or fail and start the whole level over again. There are boosters, of course, to give you more time or more rotation or unscrew the pooch if you fail mid-level, but you're not going to use those. Let's be real here. You want the challenge, and this game will deliver. Plus there's achievements!

Free 4 you
Each level has between 3 and 9 sub levels, I have completed like 60 levels and I estimate the game has maybe 110 levels in total. Puzzles have different figures: cubes, bars, octahedrons etc. The game is fine at the beginning but it becomes repetitive and tedious very fast.
Think of this as a kid's set of fitting blocks, on steroids. Don't get me wrong, this game is HARD and will test your geometrical/tridimensional perception to the limit. Don't be fooled by the game's first trailer, as it is very misleading. The second trailer is more accurate to what you get. I won't lie to you, the game concept is all about testing your geometrical/spatial ability by passing 3D objects through a hole (no, there's nothing dirty in that sentence). There is some variation to that theme, though. Sometimes you have to do it within a time limit. Sometimes you have to move the object as little as possible but can take as much time as you want. There's also a mode that shows a blank object with no shadows or other indications of perspective and you'll have to find the matching object from a set of 4 options. On top of that, each object is composed of smaller units, and these units vary through the game--you start with cubes, then you see dodecahedrons and other units, for a total of 6 different units which will fry your brain while you get used to each of them. While the game starts off easy, the difficulty level goes up as you make progress, and it can get really hard at times. On the downside... (1) I understand how this can get repetitive for most people, but it felt like good fun for me through the entire game, which has between 150 and 200 levels in my estimate. (2) Levels are randomly generated, and sometimes passing a level and/or getting a high score (if you care for leaderboards) can be entirely luck-based (3) some complex shapes have weird generation procedure, and sometimes you can find easier fits that were not intended, but those were very rare occasions. And there's a decent-ish story to kick. I never thought I'd ever hate tetrahedrons, but I do recommend this game a lot if you find the concept interesting enough.
This game is basically rotating 3D tetris blocks through (sometimes angled) snapshots of their shape outline. I like it as a short time killer, but it feels like a puzzle game I'd much rather play in VR.
