Very simple, enjoyable shooter with a little RPG elements. Graphics are good, and runs fine. Also cheap. I like it very much. And I hope there will be a second part.
Fun
I liked it, i just wish it had better optimization for Steam Deck and hand held, but these guys can show you better than I can tell. https://youtu.be/eeej0pERRmQ
Simple enough but fun to play, has old Blood 2 vibes for some reason for me. Autosave would be nice.
Very decent Destiny-lite in Oblivion/WW1 setting. Could have been a masterpiece with at least AA-budget.
this is a very competently made FPS/RPG looter shooter. dev made the brave and respectable choice of just not having voiced lines rather than using AI slop or mediocre/laughable voice acting.
Not bad, could be better get on sale. Most of the game is serviceable and there is very little tedium between the looting and shooting, but it doesn't excel in anything that I've seen. I do appreciate being able to fast travel basically from anywhere to anywhere, easily my favorite part. In contrast base movement is very quick but there's tons of ♥♥♥♥ on the ground to get stuck on or run into.
great game very addicting
Too many crybabies in the reviews. This is a looter-shooter from indie team, that’s a bit of a “boomer-doomer” shooter, but more like something from between the years 2000–2005. What it’s supposed to do, it does very well. It’s missing a few QoL things (an F5 save would be nice, or at least an autosave when fast traveling or entering a dungeon). The quality is directly proportional to the price, and for that price you get a lot of fun. Some people should come to terms with the fact that it’s not 2010 anymore and that games from indie teams are no longer sold for a sneeze and a nickel. With the 1.1 update, a difficulty option was added as well, so some of the people who, for whatever reason, want everything to be “souls-like” can calm down a bit. Or go play Dark Souls, Sulfur, or maybe Cultic. Weapon feedback feels directly proportional to what kind of game this is. I’m not expecting weapon behavior like in BF or MW. I think the developers will still fine-tune this. On the contrary, it’s a pleasant nostalgia dose like shooters from around 2000–2005. The important thing for me is that there’s plenty of loot and also some upgrading to be done; it’s true that packs of mobs could be a bit larger, but Unity has its limits. It would also be nice to spice up environmental exploration a bit, because for example the north-western corner of the map, that outcropping, is almost empty — it needs more environmental storytelling (or more lore scrolls) and hidden things to collect. I originally had a pirated version, and after 5 hours the choice to buy the official version on Steam was clear. For me, a solid 7/10 indie game, with room for further improvement and polishing of what’s already there. And hey, if anyone wanna some looter-shooter with nice atmosphere, buy it.
