SEASON: A letter to the future

This is an absolutely breathtaking game. From the animation to the graphics to the story, this game feels like a warm escape. The pace may feel slow at times but that seems to be exactly how it's meant to be. I loved the way that the story and mystery unfolds. I love the memory making aspect and that you could be creative when building each journal page -- I thought it would feel like a task but it was such a lovely change of pace from what I'm typically used to. The character development was enjoyable and I felt invested in the characters by the end. Many felt Ghibli-esque and yet, the art is still unique in its own way. The cutaway scenes were a favorite. The score reminds me of my favorite ambient album. I wish there was more! But alas, the season has come to an end.

I think this might be my favorite game ever. It's definitely on par with Outer Wilds and Night In The Woods in terms of how powerful the narrative is. Whether purposefully or not, the game speaks to two irrevocably human desires: the desire to be remembered in an enormous universe and the desire to bear witness to life and existence in their exuberance. Every little story of loss, of leaving something behind, of marching time, of transition resonated within me deeply, and I'm grateful for the experience. SEASON is stylish, sensitive, full of yearning, grief, melancholy, peace and a million other shades of emotion inbetween. It's also occasionally janky gameplay-wise, but not enough to throw you off. Thoroughly recommend.

Jeu très touchant qui vous invite à vous balader, prendre le temps d'observer, d'enregistrer, de photographier et de tout consigner dans votre carnet! Un jeu vraiment poétique qui vous emmènera dans un voyage plutôt surprenant.

If you're not appealed by the artsy aesthetic. And what it's trying to achieve. Then you wont find anything here. Its a cutscene heavy walking sim. Wasn't for me.

不错 需要很有耐心

Beautiful. Strange. Poignant. Well written. And, actually, longer than I expected! (It sounds like a lot of people are getting through it in 3-4 hours; I really got pulled into the world and ended up taking 10.) My only nitpick is there are a couple places where it's not obvious what the gate to progress is, which either left me stuck or unexpectedly rushed me past stuff I wanted to experience. Doesn't spoil the whole, though, I think. I would play a sequel that's just more of this universe in a heartbeat.
