Great old-school diablo-like game with a good story. One of my childhood games. I got it working on Steam Deck too. I got past the blank title screen. Here's what I did: Install a display wrapper: (fixes low framerate on Windows) 1. Download [url=http://www.dege.freeweb.hu/dgVoodoo2/dgVoodoo2/][b][u]dgVoodoo2[/u][/b][/url] and extract 2. Open the [b]MS\x86[/b] folder and copy [b]D3D8.dll[/b] to the game's installation folder (\Steam\steamapps\common\Seal of Evil) optional: to remove the watermark: run [b]dgVoodooCpl.exe[/b], go to DirectX tab and uncheck [i]dgVoodoo Watermark[/i]. Click Apply and OK. Copy [b]dgVoodoo.conf[/b] to the game's installation folder Override DLL library: (only for Steam Deck) 1. Install [b]protontricks[/b] via discovery store and run 2. Select this game (Seal of Evil) 3. Pick [i]Select default wineprefix[/i] and click OK 4. Pick [i]Run winecfg[/i] and click OK 5. Go to Libraries tab. 百度随便找一个不能玩的中文版，把中文版安装目录下的Dlg文件夹和ERRelive.dll文件一起拖到steam英文版的目录\steam\steamapps\common\Seal of Evil，再开新游戏文字就是汉化的了。这个方法对已经是英文的存档部分没用。 steam版本自带中文语音，在这个根目录\sound\cn里，都拖到sound下就好了。 刚开始玩，目前还没啥问题

cannot run on win 11; can only run on win 10; please be compatible with win 11. And please open the workshop, so players can get more skill points when level up 不能在win 11 上运行，只能在win 10 运行 如果有中文就更好了。 为什么中英文要分开呢？ 另外，应该开放创意工坊workshop，这样升一级可以加更多属性点。

I had a problem in the drop of frame rate and lagness. To remedy this: 1. go the the steal folder where it was downloaded (in my case, this pc>local disk (C:)>Program Files (x86)>Steam>Steanapps>common>Seal of Evil. 2. Within the "Seal of Evil" folder, look for the file by the name "SOE" with the game logo as the file pic and file size 3,444 KB. 3. Right click the file and click properties. Switch to the "COMPATIBILITY" tab, located between tab "General"and "Security". 4.The following are my settings. *Compatibility mode: Run this program in compatibility mode for "Windows 7". *Reduced color mode to 16-bit (65536) color. *Run in 640x480 screen resolution *Run this program as an administrator 5. Click on "Change settings for all users" This method works for me and I hardly suffer from the referred drop in frame rate and lagness. I do not claim that my way is the best and there are probably some settings done where it was not necessary. This is due to my lack of IT skills and the method was from a pure chance or trial and error. The only thing that might hinder immersion would be a bit of frame rate drop and lagness when you try to change the active skill (left skill that you use on auto when you left click an enemy) or the passive skill (skill that only triggers when you click right button of the mouse) of the characters. Have fun.

Glad this classic is back. I played it in the past, but now i have the chance to legitimate it by buying it. It has great 2D graphics and the level of detail is simply awesome. It is really a worthy sequel (or should i say prequel) to Prince of Qin and it has the playable spirit of the Diablo franchise. I cannot but recommend it. The dark side of this is that the lighting effects are not working in my Windows 10. As a result, magic attacks from the characters like Lan Wei and the light effects from the environments cannot be seen or activated. Please fix this as soon as possible.

刚刚肝完，百分之91的游戏完成度。 这个游戏我很早之前玩过，因为上了电软，那时候玩的盗版，那时候玩的没那么认真，最后boss是走A打死的，那时候觉得可刺激了。没有觉得不好。 最近补票重新玩了一遍91完成度，有个任务读档丢失忘记做了，就是那个在野外经常遇到的书生，这是这次的一个遗憾。 游戏是个老游戏了，不可否认操作以现在来看很蛋疼，技能释放太太太慢了，尤其是女主的，还有经常切换到彩欣角色时候屏幕会飞到很远处，切换人物没有地牢做的好。 亮点就是打造装备的系统，有时候痛恨背包太小，半天遇不到个店铺，有时候剧情需要突然某个人物不在队列，他身上的物资都跟着一起没了就很烦。 游戏画面和场景可以算的上是中上的了，现在看起来也还挺不错的。

I have childhood memories of this game, I spent months on my old computer completing the game. Now I enjoy it again. I love it so much

Can't play game windows 10 black screen on start they need to fix this still No response.

Doesn't even launch. Tried all the guides in discussion/reviews. Shame.. really was up for some nostalgic gameplay.
