About

Welcome to SCUM, a ruthless open-world survival game where prisoners are dropped onto a vast, hostile island and forced to survive by any means necessary.
Every decision shapes who you become and how long you last. Scavenge, loot, craft, hunt, build and fight for every advantage as you adapt to a world that wants you dead.
Stay alive. Stay dangerous. Become something harder to kill.
SCUM is built on deep, interconnected survival systems that give every choice weight.
Your health, survival skills, metabolism, and fatigue are all shaped by an intricate progression system that defines how long you last.
But you’re not alone out here. Former contestants re-animated as Puppets shamble across the land, mutated experiments twisted into monsters lurk in the dark, and every other player has the same goal as you: Survive long enough to leave a mark.
Risk-taking, high-stakes and tragedy all make for a great show. In SCUM your actions directly shape how you are perceived through the world’s reputation system.
Team-up or go it alone. SCUM gives you the systems, what you do with them is up to you.
You're trapped on a vast and dangerous island built for opportunity and discovery, so scavenge what you need and craft what you don’t have.
SCUM’s 225㎢ map is inspired by all aspects of Croatian territory. Sprawling across beautiful Adriatic coastline, lush forests and harsh freezing mountain sides. Explore high-security military zones and hidden corners of the island, all offering something worth claiming or something worth fearing.
The prisoners who look beyond the next meal may begin to understand what’s really going on here, if they live long enough.
If you can survive here, you can survive anywhere.
Do you have what it takes?
Massive open world with diverse and dangerous environments
Deep character customization, metabolism and survival simulation systems
Complex crafting, looting and base building
PvP and PvE with no fixed progression path
Persistent character development and skill growth
A live-broadcast survival premise with real attitude
Ongoing development with expanding systems and world depth

I can no longer recommend the game. There is a lack of communication (roadmap), and the DLC policy goes beyond that of the competition—compare it to Funcom and Conan Exiles. Funcom’s Dune DLCs cost 10 euros, covering both buildings and clothing. Whereas in Scum, buildings alone are sold for 20 euros. Compared to the new title, *Dune: Awakening*, the price point here is around 10 euros for the whole package. With *Scum*, we’re looking at a 30-euro price range, which is too high. The format of the DLCs leaves a poor impression here. Optional hairstyles (male, female) Deluxe Content Pack Camouflage packs Camouflage packs contain elements so fundamental to the game that offering them as DLCs restricts the gameplay experience to such an extent that I wonder if the game is now being sold piecemeal. The same goes for Deluxe content and hairstyles—things that would imply at least some level of ongoing care for the game, were it not for the fact that you have to pay extra for them. I bought both supporter packs—it was a "go for it, here's my support" kind of gesture; the actual content didn't matter. I actually find the content of these packs insulting. What kind of person do they take me for? As if I expect an immediate return for everything. Basically, that money was on top of the game's purchase price, with nothing expected in return—what kind of world do you people live in, anyway? You could say there have been some changes to the vehicles—the driving physics have improved, as was to be expected—but there has been development. That said, it has been too slow. A nuclear reactor really wasn't on my priority list, and it offers hardly any substantial content. With the "Hunter" masturbation and flavor pack, it seems the focus has shifted entirely to luxury and self-actualization, completely devoid of substance. It feels like they’ve drifted off into a world of their own—something that feels like hate. Ultimately, one can't really argue against it (every living thing wants to live), but this is what’s known as a special social category—a sort of "wildlife protection prayer" for animals that cannot survive without help. I lack the patience, the resignation, and the passivity to settle for that; I refuse to give up. Because for the product, that spells the end—it means never climbing out of that hole again. Here, Scum is experiencing its own unique survival simulation—the harshest one known to modern human society: the neglect born of affluence—suffering without direct pain, a loss of dignity—Chihuahua-style. I gave you a head start, this is the thanks!?
ass game
I never leave reviews, but this game deserves one. SCUM is the best open world survival game i've ever seen and played, very in depth and enjoyable. With no fixed progression path, you can choose how to survive and you can choose what you do on the island, it is generally as difficult as you make it. If you enjoy in-depth survival mechanics, paired with a huge, diverse map, and a top-tier clothing/weapon system, buy SCUM.
What can I say. I love a game that’s slightly broken. The crafting, looting, and base building are good. Played for 2 weeks before I actually got my first PVP kill. It has easy loot runs. The game has some heart pounding moments. It’s not nearly as stressful as say Tarkov. It’s forgiving. Expect to give it some time before you have a decent handle on it. Spent my first week on foot and when I finally got a vehicle which was a dirt bike I felt like John Connor in the Terminator. I really felt like a kid again. I recommend. 7.5/10
Very poor multiplayer Implementation. Devs refuse to send 1 email to get added to Proton's EAC, so people who use the game through proton can still play with anticheat enabled. They don't even need to reprogram or pay for anything, its just a request to be added to the whitelist. Not even 2 minutes of work for something that has been available to them since 2021: https://store.steampowered.com/news/group/4145017/view/3104663180636096966 Then the devs allow people to setup servers without EAC, but they don't allow people browse for them unless using the windows version of EAC. Not that some 10 year outdated anticheat system does anything to stop cheaters anyway.
joins official pve server and gets killed by players, great game
the trailers make this game seems like a AAA title with a dedicated storyline and walkthrough. it is a VERY COMPLEX game. not like an AZ game or GTA V. it it very in depth technically and does not support a controller. Beware if your game style is more Xbox and PS. it is not like these types of games at all. I would not recomend unles you are a die hard PC person.
its trash
很好玩很上瘾很真实,不过这游戏唯一的缺点就是人机太超标了,不然这游戏能玩一辈子
