Pretty fun game. Seems like a pretty standard wave shooter type game. Definitely enjoyable if you're into that type of thing. Graphics are pretty nice and enemies are pretty amusing.
my first VR game and gotta say i love it. Lots of fun. A must buy!!
This is the first VR game that I purchased and didn't think much of it initially, but Scrap Attack is growing on me. Having large metallic baddies fall apart, springs, screws and all, is strangely satisfying. There doesn't seem to be much of a strategy to it yet: just lots of pointing and shooting. But, it keeps getting better with every update and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes!
Very fun wave shooter game. The graphics are really nice and the enemies have a lot of personality. The music is nice too. The game is getting frequent updates which add new content and improving the gameplay which is great to see! Overall very polished and fun.
Doesn't work on Valve Index at all. Update: still doesn't work, nothing from developer(s) in a year. Save your money and skip this waste.
Mein Kuratorseite: http://store.steampowered.com/curator/30155555 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dl5gicAyKns
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
This isn't a bad wave shooter, but it's way overpriced given the quantity and quality of what it offers. This is a 360 arena wave shooter (it's not really a Tower Defense game because the only TD element is not letting the crystal get destroyed). Sadly, you can choose to stand still and most enemies will come towards you as long as you're near the crystal. Even when you move away from the crystal, many enemies will follow you and get in front of you to shoot. There are 5 types of enemies, all drones, some small, some large, some by air, and some by land. There is a tutorial, easy1, normal1, and hard 1 level (actual names!!! and they all look very similar), each with a leaderboard. You teleport by holding grip and pointing to where you want to teleport to and you switch weapons by your joystick or directional pad. You have 3 weapons: laser handgun long distance weapon, smg mid range weapon, and lastly the shotgun short range weapon. That's about all the strategy there is in this game. Enemy AI is pretty bad. Mostly it's just that there's a lot of them and they can destroy the crystal if you're not careful. So position yourself correctly, have the right weapon for the right situation, and move or shoot the enemy projectiles to avoid damage. Guns reload by themselves. Occasionally enemies drop powerups, but it' rare and they are not that good anyways. That's it. That's the whole game. Pretty bland really, maybe this is something for kids? Did I have fun? Hrm... for like the first 10 minutes. Then I tried normal1 (after the tutorial and easy1) and it was more of the same crap and I was bored and just wanted to die and quit and uninstall this game. This is a $.99 cents game at the absolute most. I got this game in a bundle so I probably paid less than that. It's crazy this dev is asking for $9.99 for this game. Rate 4/10.
Dont bother if you have an index
Doesn't work with Index
