About
SCP: Destruction Protocol is an immersive first-person horror experience that throws you into the depths of a secret SCP Foundation facility.
You are a lone rebel whose mission is to activate the Destruction Protocol — a self-destruction sequence designed to erase all traces of the horrors lurking below the surface.
But the plan went terribly wrong. Your entire team is dead, the facility has descended into chaos, and something far worse is now roaming the halls.
Armed with only a flashlight and a Level 4 keycard, you must explore, adapt, and survive as you descend deeper into the darkness. Along the way, you’ll find scattered notes revealing fragments of the story — the scientists’ last words, the cries for help, and the secrets behind the SCPs that escaped containment.
The facility is divided into three main zones:
Entrance Zone – Once meant to keep order, it now lies silent and lifeless.
Heavy Containment Zone – a dark labyrinth of steel corridors and sealed chambers. This is where the initial breach began, and where the most dangerous SCPs roam freely.
Light Containment Zone – relatively stable and quiet compared to the rest of the complex, but safety here is only an illusion.
Each SCP requires a unique approach:
Some must never be looked away from — or they’ll strike instantly.
Some are blind but have an acute sense of hearing, reacting to every sound you make.
Others distort your mind, causing unbearable pain with prolonged eye contact.
And some… simply ignore the laws of physics, walking through doors as if they were never there.
You cannot fight them. You are not a soldier — you are prey.
The only path to survival is to understand them, to adapt, and to outsmart every creature that hunts you.
Throughout the game, your objectives will update dynamically as you uncover more about the story. Automatic checkpoints will mark your progress at key locations, but every new zone will test your nerve and memory.
You’ll hear distant footsteps, whispers, and scraping metal — sometimes too close, sometimes behind you. The facility is alive, and it knows you’re here.
Not every SCP is hostile. You may encounter SCP-131, a small and friendly companion who can accompany you through safe zones — one of the few sources of comfort in this nightmare.
But even with allies, the road to the Level 5 keycard and the Destruction Protocol terminal is treacherous. You’ll need to outwit traps, reopen sealed doors, and lock corridors behind you to delay what’s chasing you.
Every sound, every flicker of light, every step you take could be your last.
Can you complete the mission… or will you become just another forgotten experiment?

EDIT: I take back what I said about this game being the worst game I have ever played. After completing it, I found I had some fun. But it still needs lots of work. I'm sorry, but in its current state, I wouldn't recommend anybody purchase this game. The first mission (I assume the only mission) has you spawn on the surface above the laboratory. If you try to enter through Gate A, you will come across a bunch of corpses and the sound of SCP-096 in the distance. Your character realizes that it is too dangerous to enter through Gate A so you go back to the surface and enter through Gate B instead. This is where the hell begins. Once you enter through Gate B, you will walk through an infinite maze of empty hallways with nothing to interact with except some notes left by staff who work at the facility. The notes don't contain anything interesting; very generic "something is off with this place" material. As you walk through the maze of hallways and rooms, you will be left confused as to what exactly is happening. Your goal is to find Heavy Containment. Okay. Where is that located? I have no idea. There is no map to refer to that can help you determine where to go. Most of the rooms look the same so you will find yourself doing loops around the building. And a reminder that there is nothing to interact with besides the doors and some notes. It's not like Containment Breach where you are constantly coming across new items and unique rooms. If you walk through the first room after entering Gate B and keep going right, you will spot SCP-173. SCP-173 will disappear after first being sighted, and if you keep walking through a few more doors beyond the location where 173 first appeared, a squiggly bar will appear in the middle of your screen along with SCP-173. This is your 'blink' meter. You can't manually control your blinking like Containment Breach, the meter works automatically without you having any control over it. Okay, that's fine with me. But 173 is not fun to play against. You have to run from room to room trying to avoid being killed by 173, and it is difficult because the doors all close automatically after being opened for a short period of time. So if you try to walk backwards through a door you left open, it will probably close behind you which forces you to turn your eyes away from 173 to open the door. Now 173 can either kill you or will inch closer towards you, and it sucks because you can't control your blinking so you might have 173 right next to you when your meter is about to run out and you die after making a feeble attempt to open the door behind you. I know this may sound like a fun challenge, but trust me it is nothing but frustrating. It gets real tiring trying to open the door by turning your head for a split second and then quickly turning back to face towards 173. Half of the time you will miss hitting the button and now 173 is right in your face and you have no time to make distance from it before you blink and die. Now if you wait long enough, 173 will eventually disappear. I was able to figure this out when 173 got stuck on a set of stairs and couldn't move even when I blinked. So if you somehow are able to survive long enough for 173 to disappear, you can continue moving on with exploring the facility. You see some dead bodies, that's cool. You walk through some more hallways. More empty rooms. Maybe they have props to look at or notes to read. Nothing interesting. You walk and walk and walk, with no end in sight. And then all of a sudden 173 shows up again and the hell continues. You run backwards, try to open the door, and at some point you will be so fatigued that you end up dying again. The worst part to all of this, is that there is no way of saving your progress. There are no checkpoints. There is no manual saving. If you die to 173, you have to go all the way back to the start of Gate B and go through the chore of walking through the hallways to once again trigger 173's appearance and somehow survive the hell that ensues. It's extremely frustrating. I love SCP Containment Breach and the many games that it has inspired. This game is unfortunately too unplayable in its current state to be something I admire. I really hope the developer can make this thing work. Because as of right now, the game is too frustrating. It needs better checkpoints, more things to interact with, less endless-walking, and better direction. To the developer: I wish you the best of luck. I hope you can one day make this game something awesome.
While playing, I had a heart attack.... It's even very good for fangames, if anyone wants to try it, I recommend it
It's an intersting game but SCP-173 AI is too good. They need to nerf him. Cause in those long ass hallways its kinda hard to get rid of him. I gave up in the blackout section. Also the fact that you cant close the door by youreself makes it realy easy to get killed.
