[h2] Background [/h2] Your a Rat, you can play with a whole group of rats or go alone. You have to find another rat friend that is lost in the maze and rescue them by escorting them back where you came from, but you must press a number of big red buttons to open the way again. There is a thing hunting you, good luck. [h3] Warning... [/h3] A word to the wise... If you play VR in a room where your around ANY type of objects at all, be VERY careful and aware of your surroundings, I've hit my hands more in this game than any other... That being said though... [h1] Praise! [/h1] The movement is not done by the joysticks on the controllers, rather you have you move your hands on the floor yourself to move your little rat self around, it's jank in a very good and satisfying way, where it creates tension when your getting chased as one false move can ruin your whole movement flow ending in you going slow enough to get caught. While on the other hand if you get good you can pull some CRAZY stunts, movement tech, and parkour! It's bad in a fun and intuitive way! The Immersion is pretty good, there is no real menu, rather your thrown right in and a in game TV works as the menu, giving you ways to customise the look or your rat and choosing to go alone, with randoms, or make a private room with friends! The perspective, sounds, and overall vibe of the sewers go a long way to sell you on the idea your alone in a vast space yet cramped at the same time. The Thing itself in the sewer with you... Well Imagine what a rat might have to worry about in a sewer, give yourself 3 guesses and the 10th one is correct. And even if you know what's in the sewer with you, it can still catch you off guard and scare the ♥♥♥♥♥ out of you! (Not to mention your own friends and A.I Rat) The A.I Rat you have to escort won't die and keeps good pace with the person it follows, so you don't have to worry about it or babysit. And of course... Rat! Need I say more about that? They are VERY cute. [h1] Gripes/wishes [/h1] I only have 2 gripes for this game. Once you play 2 or 3 games you realize the map stays the same, I wished the game used procedural generation for the map to give a fresh map every time, and I wished there were random events to keep you on your toes and full of tension. And finally I wished there different monsters with different rules, just to give more variety. [h1] Conclusion! [/h1] Overall I was pleasantly surprised with this game, and will play it more in the future! I hope it gets more updates and public attention in the future! If you got a VR headset, get this game! It's a nice simple game. Have fun my fellow rat friends!
