Cool, creative concept, but awkward application. The tutorial is confusing, and requires trial and error to actually figure out what is possible with this game, which is a fair bit! It is soothing to build once you figure out what's happening. There are so many objects, which should allow for a lot of possibilities, but you end up feeling limited by the interface. For example, you need to scroll for a long time before you find a part of a house or a building, but you have a lot of indoor furniture, which kind of needs the context of a wall, at least. There's no option to sort at all, which is infuriating, especially since there are so many different versions of shrubs and trees, but if you want a door, you'll be scrolling for a while. There are also no snapping tools at all to align the objects, so if you do find a wall, good luck creating a 90 degree angle. not a game for perfectionists. All that said, very fun, creative, and meditative.

This game is amazing, but how invite friend, or share map ?
Say is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this "art experience". Instead of being a game, Say is a software application that presents a poorly made art exhibition. This is another godawful half-baked "art" experience where the "artist" who doesn't know the difference between a game and eviction from art school decided that making the viewer part of the art is amazing and has never been done before (it has, and it's always been a bad idea). So, in this "art experience" you get to place a few crappy low poly objects and some text... yep, that's it. Bad idea, implemented badly, and most importantly for us gamers, this is not a game. We get this non-game shovelware on Steam whenever your usual Starbucks barista/McDonalds frycook art school dropout finally gets a restraining order from the local art galleries so turns to Steam Direct to try get their art published somewhere so they can finally dream of moving out of their parents basement. It's true that games can be art... art is where the pinnacles of craftsmanship and quality meet vision and narrative to create an experience far greater than the sum of the parts. This isn't a game at all, and the craftsmanship and narrative are terrible. This isn't making art better, it's just making gaming worse. For those unfamiliar with what actually makes something a game, a "game loop" describes the interaction and feedback a gamer has when playing a game. Tetris, for example, has a game loop where a random block appears, the gamer interacts with the block to position it, and then the game decides if that finishes a row or not, increases the players score if any rows were completed, then gives the gamer another block to position. Counter-Strike has a game loop where a player seeks another player, tests their skill against that player by shooting them or being shot, the computer rewards the player if they win, and then if the player survives, they repeat that loop. There's no loop here, no true interactive feedback. It simply is not a game, it cannot be "played". This has misleadingly been launched in the "Games" section of Steam instead of the "Software" section. This is a common mistake for developers who are new to Steam, or don't understand the difference between games and software which isn't a game. It seems this software published incorrectly as a game is simply lack of experience/knowledge of the correct process. Here's a link for the process to publish non-game software on Steam: Steam Developer Help With Software Publishing It's unfortunate this process was not known about/followed, resulting in a non-game "art experience" being published in the wrong place. Publishing things which aren't games on Steam in the Games section as games is misleading to gamers and somewhat harmful, because it pollutes the Steam marketplace and takes away visibility and market exposure for genuine game developers who do the right thing and make games for gamers. There are no gameplay loops in this rejected art school dropout exhibition, no "gameplay", no meaningful game like interaction. As such, this has no merit as a video game for gamers, and so I cannot recommend this non-game as a game to gamers.
Can’t tell if this is a very deep philosophical experience or a very elaborate sh*tpost
I'm currently doing a challenge to play through a free game in every single category on steam. I then give an honest review using ChatGPT.
Game: 74 / 447 Category: Narrative "Narrative? More Like an Unfinished Experiment" This game is a puzzling entry in the "Narrative" category, but calling it that feels generous. It’s sort of like a builder—you place objects, write a few things, and... well, that’s about it. It feels like something that was never finished but somehow got released by accident. I managed to crash the game and fall through the floor, which was probably the most entertaining part. The overall experience screams "early prototype," yet it came out five days ago. Maybe the devs didn’t get the memo? Unless you’re in the mood for an unfinished oddity, probably skip this one.
Awesome Concept! I have never seen this implemented so purely - no this and that bs, just the core: Say something, be it small or a whole Story, by building a world in a 3d environment from scratch. No complicated tools, just the one way that you place things and that'S it. I like the look and feel, as i said, the simplicity of it. Shure, it looks a little rough around the edges and the tutorial is a little sparse, but once you get what it'S about it's just beautiful to hang out, build and see what others have done! Recommended - it's a free game after all...
