Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 5 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Sadly this game is unplayable. It suffers from many bugs and issues. In the controls options you can assign your keys but once the game begins it no longer recognises your keyboard. Button presses are not picked up and you can't even pause or exit the game. Playing with controller is very cack handed and the buttons for each colour seem to be in a random order and the strum button doesnt work. You can reassign keys but again, if you can't strum then its pointless. When assigning the basic controls instead of "Rockstar" you cant even assign a strum or pause button as the game doesnt let you. I thought this meant you dont need to strum at all but the game still didnt recognise my button presses.

Unbeatable with a Xbox 360 Guitar Hero controller. And it's not my controller, I tested it. Avoid this,. and go play Clone Hero instead. - The music is good. It's all metal covers of Christmas songs, some nice tunes here. - Does not feel right. I've played a lot of Guitar Hero, the timing on this game is much more strict and it messes with my muscle memory. No options to calibrate monitor delay. - Unless you set your monitor to 60hz/alt-tab at the start of every song this game refuses to load the song for an unreasonable amount of time. - There is no possible reason I can think of as to how one of the fret keys can suddenly stop responding in game, causing me to fail the song, but also then immediately work to select things in the menus! What gives?! Another button started doing this as well! - If I restart the game, I have to replay the last 2 songs again, because instead of levels being one song each, they're now 3. At least you can retry from the start of the song you fail on, but why do this? - I tested my controller with Clone Hero to see if was my guitar controller, and Clone Hero works just fine.

Great and cool cheap little guitar hero knock-off. It's great!
Santa Rockstar, developed by Bekho Team and published by Volens Nolens Games, is a rhythm game that embraces absurdity and seasonal charm in equal measure, delivering a festive spin on the familiar note-hitting formula popularized by genre staples. Instead of following the usual rockstar fantasy, the game casts players as a leather-clad, guitar-wielding Santa Claus who tears through heavy metal renditions of classic Christmas songs while soaring across stylized holiday backdrops. It’s a premise that doesn’t take itself seriously for even a moment, and that sense of playful irreverence becomes the foundation of the entire experience. The gameplay sticks closely to traditional rhythm mechanics, with notes scrolling toward a hit zone that players must time correctly to maintain combos and rack up points. The controls are straightforward and easy to grasp, making it accessible to newcomers while still offering enough challenge on higher difficulties to keep players engaged for a while. There’s a satisfying rhythm to landing consecutive notes and building multipliers, though the system itself is fairly basic compared to more advanced entries in the genre. It doesn’t introduce many new ideas or mechanics, instead relying on the core loop to carry the experience, which works in short sessions but can start to feel repetitive over time. What truly defines Santa Rockstar is its soundtrack, which reimagines well-known Christmas carols as energetic rock and metal tracks. Songs that are typically soft or traditional are transformed into high-tempo, guitar-driven performances that inject new life into familiar melodies. This reinterpretation gives the game a distinct identity and adds a layer of novelty that keeps it entertaining, especially for players who enjoy both rhythm games and unconventional takes on holiday music. While the tracklist isn’t particularly large, it offers enough variety to support multiple playthroughs, particularly when experimenting with different difficulty levels. Visually, the game leans into its quirky concept with bright colors, exaggerated character designs, and a slightly cartoonish aesthetic. Santa himself is portrayed as a rebellious rocker, complete with tattoos and attitude, supported by a cast of equally eccentric companions. The presentation is functional and occasionally amusing, but it doesn’t push the boundaries in terms of detail or animation quality. Backgrounds and stage elements tend to be simple, serving more as a backdrop for the action rather than a highlight in their own right. The overall structure of the game is relatively modest, featuring a campaign that progresses through themed stages along with options to replay songs for higher scores. While this setup works well for quick sessions, it also highlights the game’s limited scope. There isn’t a great deal of additional content or modes to extend its lifespan, and once players have worked through the available tracks, the main incentive to return lies in improving performance rather than discovering new material. This makes the game feel more like a compact, self-contained experience than something designed for long-term engagement. Audio feedback and timing are crucial in rhythm games, and while Santa Rockstar generally performs adequately in this area, it doesn’t always feel as tight or precise as more polished titles. Minor inconsistencies in timing or input responsiveness can occasionally disrupt the flow, which is particularly noticeable for players who are more experienced with the genre. These small issues don’t completely undermine the experience, but they do prevent it from reaching the level of refinement that defines the best rhythm games. Despite its limitations, Santa Rockstar manages to carve out a niche for itself through its personality and approachability. It’s easy to pick up, doesn’t demand a huge time investment, and delivers a concept that is both amusing and memorable. For players looking for a lighthearted rhythm game with a seasonal twist, it offers a fun diversion that works best in short bursts. However, those seeking depth, precision, or a more robust feature set may find it lacking once the novelty wears off. In the end, Santa Rockstar succeeds as a quirky, festive experiment that understands its strengths but doesn’t extend far beyond them. It’s entertaining, accessible, and occasionally catchy, but also limited in scope and staying power. As a casual rhythm game with a unique holiday theme, it hits enough of the right notes to be enjoyable, even if it doesn’t quite deliver a standout performance. Rating: 7/10
