This horror game kind of rides the coattails of other games in the similar styles before it. What starts off as a bit promising quickly turns stale and poor writing. The twist of the plot is quite easy to guess, the villains in the story are cartoonish and quite unrealistic, and the game play mechanic of running the kiosk loses it's shine after a day. There are plenty of games like this where you run a store and get orders for customers, but this one just says 'toss the items to the invisible bag and sometimes press a button' and that's about it. I would recommend playing another game if you're looking for some horror.

odd game. i wouldn't recommend *against* it necessarily. it did certainly put and keep me on edge; i liked the gameplay that we did get of filling orders at the kiosk (and i love that mechanic repeating at home with making breakfast). i think ultimately, i wanted more from it? and what it had didn't fit together well. the ending is two twists in a row, one being played out and uninteresting, and the other being a bit meaningless and even less interesting. i think there's a lot more to explore with this than we got, which is a shame. why did the other former workers leave the kiosk? can we have a more interesting mystery going on? also of course a note that the english translation is a bit rough. i had to guess what a few lines actually meant, but ngl it wasn't so bad and didn't bother me.

Une petite expérience horrifique qui fait parfaitement le taf. 👻 Sanity Loops est un jeu relativement court, mais qui réussit à nous accrocher rapidement grâce à une histoire vraiment prenante. On avance avec l'envie de comprendre ce qui se passe et de découvrir où le jeu veut nous emmener. Et puis arrive le plot twist… un twist que je n'avais absolument pas vu venir. 👀 Sans rien spoiler, c'est clairement l'un des éléments qui m'a le plus marqué dans l'expérience. Le jeu ne cherche pas forcément à révolutionner le genre, mais il fonctionne particulièrement bien dans ce qu'il propose : une bonne histoire, une ambiance horrifique efficace et suffisamment de surprises pour nous garder jusqu'au bout. Un petit jeu d'horreur qui fait le taf et qui mérite clairement qu'on lui donne sa chance. 👻
