A quiet, unsettling story that pulls you in Sagebrush is one of those short narrative games that really sticks with you after you finish it. The game drops you into the abandoned grounds of a cult compound and lets you slowly piece together what happened there. I really enjoyed the plot, and the way the story unfolds kept me going the entire time. Every note, tape, and location adds another piece to the puzzle, and it does a great job of building tension without needing constant action. The visuals are another highlight for me. The style is simple but very effective, and it fits the atmosphere of the game perfectly. The lonely desert setting and abandoned buildings create a really eerie feeling that makes exploring the area genuinely engaging. What I liked most is that the game trusts the player to discover the story themselves. It doesn’t force things on you — you learn about the characters and events by paying attention to the environment and the clues left behind. It’s not a long game, but it’s a memorable one. If you enjoy narrative exploration games with a strong atmosphere and an interesting story, Sagebrush is definitely worth playing.
Good atmosphere and well designed area
Truly an experiance of a game. I went in thinking it would be lame and I have never been so happy to be wrong in my life.
