Sad Virus Runner is a modern platformer class game. There are 6 maps available. The action can be fast on some maps as the action is rather tricky. The graphics are modern 3D making the game look better than N64 games. Each map has 2 extra lives so players can gain some extras on a map. This game is DX9 so it's not very demanding. I played this on my Dell Precision 3480 with Intel Xe Arc graphics and RTX A500 graphics.

Das wirkt lieblos, fast so, als wolle man das Spiel schnell abschließen und sich dem nächsten Projekt widmen. [*][b]Zoom-/Wackeleffekt:[/b] Wenn sich der Highscore um 500 Punkte erhöht, erscheint ein starker Effekt (Zoom oder Wackeln). Der ist eher störend und führt schnell zu Fehlern. [*][b]Sichtbarkeit des Charakters:[/b] Beim Einsammeln von Münzen wird mein Charakter teilweise komplett vom Effekt überdeckt. Dadurch verliere ich die Kontrolle und stoße gegen Wände – einfach, weil ich ihn nicht mehr sehe. [*][b]Fehler bei Achievements:[/b] Die Zeit für Achievements läuft weiter, selbst wenn ich bereits gestorben bin, solange ich den Level nicht verlasse oder ins Hauptmenü zurückkehre. The core idea is promising, but there's a lack of polish in many areas. Maybe I missed a few things – but here's my feedback: [list] [*][b]What's the purpose of collecting coins?[/b] I couldn't find a shop to buy skins or anything similar. [*][b]Background design:[/b] In some levels, buildings are floating in the background without roads or context. It feels rushed and unfinished – as if the developer already moved on to the next project. [*][b]Zoom/shake effect:[/b] When the high score increases by 500 points, a strong visual effect (zoom or shake) appears. It's more distracting than helpful and often leads to mistakes. [*][b]Character visibility:[/b] When collecting coins, the character is sometimes completely covered by the effect. This makes it hard to see and often results in crashing into walls. [*][b]Achievement timer bug:[/b] The timer for achievements keeps running even after dying, as long as you don’t leave the level or return to the main menu. [/list] I really appreciate indie projects – especially from developers who don’t do this professionally. But here it feels more like quantity is being prioritized over quality. So unfortunately, I can’t recommend the game in its current state.

These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was [b]only 2 players[/b]. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 130,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. It's also important to note the "developer" here has connections to a number of shady Russian asset flippers and review manipulators who show an organised pattern to scam and defraud gamers with fake reviews and asset flipping the work of others for profit. While reviews are about the games, gamers should be informed when developers act unethically. Whether these connections are the same developer using multiple accounts, or just working closely with other unethical developers, gamers should be warned about the harm to gamers by this developer and their associates. Buying games from unethical developers puts your money at risk. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 130,000+ games on Steam? Sad Virus Runner is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 14,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product. Sad Virus Runner - to zręcznościowa gierka 2d oraz 3d w której próbujemy ustalić jak najwyższy wynik. Każdy z poziomów ma inną mechanikę jak i sterowanie co sprawia jakby się grało w 6 różnych gier. Da się zdobyć wszystkie osiągnięcia. ✅ Mi się podobała, polecam 👍😎

This game is nothing like the other Sad Virus games where you collect bottles, it is 6 very awesome platformer games that have generally more content than the other games. Its only 55 cents at the time I'm making this review, so I say it was definitely worth it. 8.6 / 10
