Rusty's Retirement

Very simple idle game. Takes a little while to set up automation, but after that you hardly have to touch it

I started Rusty's Retirement without any knowledge of the game, just trying things out and going with the flow. I was able to learn efficiency on my own for the most part. Some things aren't intuitive but after spending about 22 hours on the game, I started to look at some guides and ultimately decided to spend time and money redesigning my farm. About 24 hours in and I'm having fun and don't feel as if I've seen and done everything yet. If you're into resource management meets automated sim, Rusty's Retirement is where it's at. There hasn't been anything to complain about yet and the best part is, it's only $6.99 on full price. I'd say give it a go if you're considering it.

Relaxing and simple idle game, cozy visuals and a very relaxing soundtrack. You can have the game running on the background while doing other tasks, the game progressions is simple, easy and straightforward.

This is truly a fun idle game that I'm able to play with my viewers over on Twitch! It's not at all a distraction -- in fact, most of the time I forget that I even have it going. It's really just a fun little idle game to keep chat occupied while I'm working.

[h1]面白かったのは15時間あたりまで[/h1] 放置ゲーだが、アクティブで操作し続けられるゲームデザインだ。 色々と動かし続けられるのでがっつり張り付いてプレイしていたが、徐々に増えていくリソースを使ってあれこれ拡張していくのは定番ながらも手堅く面白い。 ただ、ゲームとして気になる点もあり、 ・説明がほとんどなく、多くは説明がなくても困らないが解釈に困るものがそこそこある ・放置がメインなので機械系の自動ユニットがそれでどれぐらい効率が良くなっているかわかりにくい ・主人公がプレイ時間の引き延ばしを前提とした不便な動きをしており、指示が出来ないこともあって意味不明なことをすることが多い（「できることから順番にこなす動き」となっていて、「近くにあるものから対応する動きではない」こともあり、たとえば東側に物資を移動させるように指示した後に、すぐ近くの別の物資も移動させようとしてもそこへは移動せず、その時点で先に処理する行動を優先して動くため、西側に優先して処理するものがあれば、西側の物資の対応をしてから東側へ戻って対応するという融通の利かなさがある） ・すべてがのろく、既存の栽培放置ゲーをとことんまで薄めたような内容になっている（最初こそまったく気にならなかったが、14段の作物のうち10段目あたりで実りが遅いと感じるようになり、進行ペースが鈍化しているように感じたので気になって様子を見ていたら、やることなすことすべてが遅いということを思い知った） ・機械強化が一つずつちまちまとした強化しかできず、煩わしい ・勝手に種を植える機械が便利だと思ったら何を植えているのかわかりにくく邪魔 などストレスになる部分が少なからず存在して個人的には見逃せなかった。 最初のステージをクリアしたところでやめることにしたが、このレビューを書く前に先人たちが書いたレビューをなんとなく読んでみたら、倍速機能があることを知って試しに実行してみることにした。 するとどうだろう。 これまでのプレイがなんだったのかというぐらい高速で動く機械たちを見て、なんだか馬鹿馬鹿しくなかった。 高速で動く機械を見ていると効率的で大変素晴らしい光景ではあるが、ここまでくると別ゲーでしかなく、落ちたモチベーションが上がることはなかった。

personally i didn't like this game very much. but it is a very well made game. objectively i'd give it a 8.5/10. it has enough complexity but i just found it more tedious than fun.

玩了以后更学不下去了，建议可以刷视频的时候玩，学习的时候玩更容易分心。很好玩

[h1] Rusty doesn't work when you retire him. This beast of a side-scroller, farm simulation, is a grand unlock of all the different fruits and vegeta_bles we could ever farm. [/h1] You help Rusty automate the farm with Echo's workshop and the drones that they service here. You upgrade speed and capacity for all drones. You get a watering, collecting, and taking to turn into biofuel bots. There's special berry collecting bots. To unlock fruits and vegs, you need to grow x, y and z amount of previous one. Crops all get upgrades too, in yield, water required, time reduced, ugpraded sizes, thanks to one of the shop-keepers you employ. There's a lot of buildings to put down. There's a bee-keeper too, but bee-hives cost a lot, and they help Berry-related plants to pollinate etc. There's an entire beautiful eco-system inside this game, and it's very rich to the eyes, while not taking up a ton of space on your screen. It's required to be open to function, you can't set up the farm and go without having the game/app open. Steam interface works through here, so having that on gives you a performance indicator of your PC idling this game, - it's bare minimum on GPU or CPU - and there's also settings to make it further efficient for long-term electrics if your PC does happen to use more Electricity than 'normal' You also convert biofuel -> Gold/currency. There are also animals to put on the farm, BUT Eventually, you run out of space, and no matter how much gold you have, you have nowhere to put anything. You need to either re-design your farm, to get things in you don't have, OR< plan really well, for bot-placement and helping the crops gather, and turn to fuel, then convert to gold is manually completed by you in the menu, as you require it, or just go and dump it all, Most structures/things you buy require combinations of gold and bio fuel, The plants in the beninging give low amounts of bio fuel, but mid-game you're already pumping this to unlock literally everything, then comes the patience of just letting all the different crops grow, You get someone who lives on the farm that plants seeds when there's open crops, and that does speed things up substantially! :) [It's also the most expensive building, so, it will take time] There's also methods to speed rush this game thanks to Steam community discussions :) Investigate what you want, and how you want to play it.
