Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 2 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A beautiful, innovative, high-quality arcade game. It feels really good to see such a refreshing entry in a genre that's getting represented less and less. The very rich mechanics in RSD make for light-hearted, yet very intense gameplay. It also comes with a meaty campaign full of hilarious dialogues (subway animals coming up with, hmm, let's say "creative" ways of cooking meat, kittens engaging in witchcraft, and plenty of other shenanigans), that is both accessible to people who prefer to play casually and not engage in scoring, and those who will try to get all the S-ranks and complete the greatly inspired side objectives. Many hours of fun in perspective. P.S. : If, for some reason, you like poodles, this game will cure you. These things are evil.
Russian Subway Dogs is a tightly designed arcade experience that takes a bizarre but oddly grounded premise and turns it into a surprisingly deep, score-driven gameplay loop. Developed and published by Spooky Squid Games Inc., the game is inspired by real stories of stray dogs navigating Moscow’s subway system in search of food. That idea is exaggerated into something playful and chaotic, placing you in control of a subway-hopping dog whose goal is to survive by startling commuters into dropping meals. What begins as a humorous concept quickly reveals itself as a carefully constructed arcade system built around timing, positioning, and quick decision-making. The core gameplay is deceptively simple. You move along a single screen, barking behind passengers to make them drop food, then catching it before it disappears or is taken by other animals. This loop is immediately accessible, requiring only a few inputs to understand, but the challenge escalates rapidly as new elements are introduced. Hunger constantly drains, forcing players to stay active, while hazards such as police officers, rival animals, and environmental dangers complicate the process. The result is a fast-paced rhythm where every action matters, and hesitation can quickly lead to failure. What gives the game its lasting appeal is how its systems interact. Food is not just something to collect—it can be combined with other elements to create new effects. Vodka bottles can be ignited to cook food or eliminate threats, and different items can trigger chain reactions that reshape the flow of a run. These interactions introduce a layer of strategy that goes beyond simple reflexes, encouraging players to think ahead and use the environment to their advantage. The game thrives on these emergent moments, where a well-timed action can turn a chaotic situation into an opportunity for survival and higher scores. Progression is structured through a series of short stages, each with specific objectives that push players to engage with the mechanics in different ways. Some levels focus on achieving a certain score, while others introduce unique challenges that require adapting strategies or experimenting with new approaches. This structure helps maintain variety, preventing the core loop from becoming overly repetitive. In addition, an endless mode offers a more traditional arcade experience, allowing players to focus purely on survival and high-score chasing, which becomes increasingly compelling as mastery improves. Visually, the game stands out with a vibrant pixel art style that blends humor with a stylized interpretation of urban life. The subway environments are colorful and lively, filled with exaggerated character designs and expressive animations that give the world a distinct personality. The soundtrack complements this presentation with energetic, Eastern European-inspired music that reinforces the game’s tone without becoming distracting. Together, the visuals and audio create a cohesive atmosphere that feels both playful and distinctive, enhancing the overall experience. Despite its strengths, the game does encounter some limitations over time. The core gameplay loop, while engaging, does not evolve significantly, and extended play sessions can begin to feel repetitive once the player has fully grasped its systems. Difficulty can also spike in later stages, where meeting objectives may require multiple attempts, potentially slowing the sense of progression. Additionally, while the game offers unlockable characters, these are largely cosmetic and do not meaningfully change gameplay, which can make rewards feel less impactful than expected. Even with these shortcomings, Russian Subway Dogs succeeds in delivering a focused and enjoyable arcade experience. Its strength lies in how well it executes its central idea, combining simple mechanics with dynamic interactions to create a loop that is both chaotic and satisfying. The balance between accessibility and depth ensures that it remains engaging for both casual players and those looking to refine their skills over time. In the end, Russian Subway Dogs is a game that understands the appeal of classic arcade design and modernizes it without losing its essence. It offers quick, energetic sessions that are easy to pick up but difficult to master, making it ideal for players who enjoy fast-paced, score-driven gameplay. While it may not offer extensive variety or long-term progression, it excels within its scope, delivering a uniquely charming and addictive experience that is easy to return to again and again. Why did Putin have to go and ruin this for everyone?
Addicting, adorable arcade goodness. It's hard to put down and a blast to pick up.
Finally, an accurate representation of the Moscow Metro jokes aside playing through the campaign was hella fun
It's actually pretty fun for a while, but eventually gets brutally difficult. I mean, I got all of the optional objectives and thought I was doing well, but somehow still had an F grade at the end of a level so it wasn't completable. That's pretty insane.
Лучшая документальная игра про историю появления шаурмы на Руси! Никогда не знал, что у ингредиентов такая насыщенная жизнь
