A really fun little game from an indie dev who clearly put their whole heart into making it. It's a peaceful, meditative game that is filled with famous quotes and a thin bit of plot. The visuals are absolutely gorgeous and the soundtrack is AMAZING. I'd buy the freakin' OST if it was for sale - the songs are haunting, beautiful, and rawly emotional and remind me a lot of Journey. Overall, really fun game! Wish there was a bit more open-ness to some of the maps (a lot of the time it felt like I was running through a maze). One map was a nice, open space that let me do a fair bit of exploration and it was very much welcome! I also wish the music played much more often - there were long stretches of me running aimlessly through the mazes without any music playing and some soft tunes would have really helped keep the vibe. But other than that, I definitely recommend the game!
Overall, loves the aesthetic value of this game. + Very nice low poly graphic + Aesthetic + Great soundtrack + Simple and light puzzles + Very chill game - The control feels a bit off, since the camera is not moving as fast as my mouse moving, its pretty hard to navigate around and change my direction quickly. This a bit turn off for me to explore around the area. - There's a few bug I found for example if you get slammed under the elevator at some stage, you will fall to the void.
What a great exploration I have in the game.A little bit challenging, but u gonna know when will the chapter end XD...graphic is good...really love the note..really recomended..great job
The ambiance, the notes, the environment, the loneliness and the music make 2 great hours to play RUSA. It worth the price! Keep it up :) What you can do : - Ability to choose the sensibility of the mouse - Ability to disable specific graphic settings (AO, Depth Of Field, etc) - I saw some issues with the LOD in the level with the broken bridge. Sometime, only the top part was visible and the bottom gone
the view in this game is absolutely stunning, and the exploration is great .
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3171055217 Rusa Odyssey is an exploration game/ walking sim which will take you about 2h to complete. The visuals are beautiful and the music is incredible, it's a shame most of the time it's dead silent which makes the exploration slow, it would be nice to have some background music. I had some issues with the controls, mostly the camera and jumping. At a certain point when the Rusa Odyssey title came along in the beginning the deer was bugged out and I had to restart the game. It's not a big deal but I just wanted to give my feedback. Achievement wise: There are collectables, around 15 orbs but no count per maps so it's confusing . Same for the flowers. it doesn't say how many we have to pick up. Since there's not much to do, the collectables seem to be the only purpose until the end. Overall it's a nice and relaxing experience I bought the game in discount for £2.67 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3171055741
Rusa Odyssey captivates with its mesmerizing art style and ingenious puzzles, offering a delightful blend of exploration and narrative. The game's attention to detail and immersive world-building make every level a joy to explore. A must-play for fans of indie games looking for a fresh and engaging experience.
Great game and I loved it! I will share my screenshots on my website www.pictureswithvulpoaica.com Very calm, beautiful game and cute to play a deer. Curious which game will be next published.
I gave up pretty early because I got stuck near the beginning where I saw a huge screwdriver(?). Tried everything but I couldn't go over a wall. I first tried using a gamepad but it seems not to be supported. The controls are clunky. It's hard to measure a jump, which is very stressful.
