Rune Factory 3 Special

A traditional throwback of an entry among the Rune Factory series. Bachelorettes are more traditionally tropey with deeper stories to unveil beyond friendly interactions. Notorious for making you rush progression with a second counting for a minute in-game, though it's not the hardest Rune Factory game out there. Kudos to Marvelous team for preserving 2010-era visual novel and anime elements within the story, though some "modern" mannerisms are noticeable among character's dialogues.

좀 더 쉬운 버전의 스타듀밸리로 이해하면 편합니다. 스타듀밸리가 높은 자유도를 가진 대신 굉장히 불친절한 게임인데 <룬 팩토리 3>는 일단 제대로 스토리 라인과 튜토리얼이 병합되어 학습 그래프가 잘 짜여진 편입니다. 게임 시스템 대부분이 스타듀밸리랑 비슷하니 해당 작품을 해봤다면 훨씬 쉽게 느껴질 겁니다. 연애 가능한 히로인은 11명, 제대로 결혼까지 가능하고 개인 스토리도 있으며 '신혼 모드'라는 새로 추가된 콘텐츠로 조금 빡센 신혼 생활을 즐길 수도 있습니다. 단점으로 당연히 스타듀밸리보단 자유도가 볼륨이 작은 게임이고 어설프게 ARPG 요소가 추가되었으나 조작감이 끔찍해서 액션은 끔찍하다는 점이 있습니다.

While not as overly polished or content rich as Rune Factory 4 Special, I think it's a good game in its own right. The game only has a male protagonist, but if that's not an issue, you get a great, large roster of bachelorettes to choose from and a short but sweet package. It's also a fine experience if you want the more relatively classic Rune Factory experience.

Replaying this after finishing rf4s is my biggest mistake. Despite the fact i like all the cast here while i only like margaret and clorica on rf4, that alone can't carry rf3 to be better than rf4. rf4 just has that superior gameplay and the qol. (duh, ofc rf4 better, it is the sequel >.<) What i would like on this from rf4 is how the upgrading is simple and not over complicated. i wish we can have this back on rf6, i hate grinding for a lv10 mats of monster, ore or even cooking stuff. I would recommend everyone who is going on the franchise to play it in order. That's all

My first Rune Factory game, which I originally played way back on the DS. Coming back to it in the remastered version brought so much nostalgia. I really love Micah’s design and Wooly transformation, the character art, and especially the story.

played the OG, easily become my favorite game. beat it multiple times. bought this one for the nostalgia and guess what... STILL PEAK GAMING. 10/10
