For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Yes.
I liked Ruiner. I liked it so much that I will definitely check out the second game, and I urge everyone that is open minded to try this game. It's a short and sweet game that does a lot of right things. Heads up, this is all from a perspective of playing it on normal. So I won't be able to talk about what harder difficulties do, or what NG+ does. I heard it doesn't change the story and only ups the difficulty, but does carry over your progress so I might try it down the line. First of all, do not listen to anyone that says this is similar to Hotline Miami. It's different and you will feel it if you have played Hotline Miami before. The thing is, with Hotline Miami, you know the layout of the map with every enemy placement and what weapon they have. You plan around what enemies have and what you have and every mistake you make is punished with death everytime (unless you got the 2 tap mask). Ruiner isn't like this. It's a reaction based game that has you making decisions on the fly as enemies drop into the level after you enter specific combat spots. And you aren't killed in one shot, and so aren't your enemies. So don't buy it with the expectation of playing Hotline Miami. I still do recommend it. The combat is engaging and fun, with abilites that you can swap anytime you want. Which is fun, as you can change up what strategy to use in each boss. I think the main bosses are kind of a bummer though. I really liked the mini-bosses. They genuinely are hard and you frequently use your abilities and do have to play into their weaknesses. But with the bosses, most of the time it feels like I'm playing DMC2. If you played DMC2, you might have just groaned. Just hold down the trigger until the boss dies. It's so rough cause there isn't a way to get close and try hacking away at the boss as you get punished everytime you do without a doubt. I heard that in NG+ that enemies enter the boss arena and attack along side the boss, but I don't know how that feels. Other than that, there is an arena mode which I didn't go into it a lot, but tried it a bit. It's a mode where you fight waves of enemies while getting upgrades every wave. It's challenging enough and I think it's fun enough to sink your teeth into. Other than the gameplay, the environment is gorgeous with this massive emphasis on red. And I mean MASSIVE, to the point that it might be drowning. But the cyberpunk esthetic is processed beautifully in a weird way. It carries style with everything you see, which is also reflected in the character designs that ooze style. Even the enemies have this nice and satisfying design. But again, every level is coated in red with no change whatsoever. So that might bore some people. There is a little hub area where you can converse with people, explore, and do some stuff. I thought it was neat and fun enough. It keeps it fresh between missions and builds a bit of context that I appreciate. The soundtrack is pretty good, nothing home to write about. I did enjoy it though, it helped the experience a lot. The cutscenes were pretty cool too, sometimes they were 3D rendered and sometimes they were animated. I thought it was nice. But one of the biggest gripes, it needs voice acting. I wish they commited to it, cause there are people that say a line or 2. It kinda makes the game feel silent at time since no one speaks. Now, story. Minor spoilers for people who care. I personally didn't mind it. The plot twist was pretty good tbh, I thought it was a nice and neat way to pack up what had transpired. They were a little on the nose with how Her kept calling us "puppy", so I wouldn't be surprised if everyone caught on with the fact that she is using us for a reason. But other than that plot twist, the reasoning they give for everything that happened in the game was pretty nice and made a lot of sense. It placed everything in a nice knot and set it up nicely for a sequel which I'm kinda excited for. All in all, Ruiner is a fun game that knew how much runtime it needed and packed a lot of nice things into the runtime it had. I hope the sequel isn't going to be a bloated mess and I hope they stray away from the red, please. It's starting to hurt my eyes.
Actual peak, get dash upgrades and the game quickly becomes amazing
—★★★★☆— The cyberpunk setting is one of my favorite things about the game. Solid, brutal, fast-paced combat, challenging enemies, everything looks dark and gritty, the soundtrack fits the atmosphere really well. The story isn’t perfect, but it does enough to keep things interesting.
