What a fantastic game! If your a Rugby fan like myself then this is a must buy, i hardly review games but feel the need i must with this. After seeing so many football management games out it is shocking to see that Rugby is hardly even a second thought, wanting to play a management game of the only sport i follow come to light with RUTM3 is pure perfection, i for one do not like football nor do i follow such, but Rugby has been my sport for 27 years, knowing the teams and the players its finally become a reality to play a game that should of been made many years ago. The developers have perfected this game for Rugby fans alike with the help of Workshop, the names can be changed in a breeze and then match with the core mechanics of the game its brilliant. Excited to see some more support for this game and further development, for Rugby fans out there we need more developers of games like this to push the sport more for new titles. 9 out of 10 for me!
Hands down the best rugby manager game about. It is fairy basic when compared to the likes of FM but if you like rugby and FM style games, this is the one!
Game played for +274 hours. Constant support for the dev team on all channels (Steam discussions, Discord, Email, etc...) Great improvements from RUTM15 and RUTM17 with many new features Stable game overall and customizable with the improved editor Community support and modding Obviously, there are still opportunities to improve the game in many aspects (UI, 3d match engine, training, player development, competition formats, etc ). It's definitely the best rugby manager game out on offer and it should provide you many hours of fun if you like sport management games.
Great game with huge UI changes since the 2017 version. I have played a season and massively enjoyed it
Beware, the decimal point is one spot too far to the right. Would be worth it if the names, Logos etc were real.
My recommendation actually has a lot of "but"s in it. First of all, I do want to support the dev team and I do appreciate the great work by the community as well. I have to appreciate the fact that such a game exists, it is quite detailed and it is clear that they have put a lot of work in it, in spite of the fact that the player base (I mean us, the gamers) is clearly smaller than for football. But... there are many things that left to be desired. For example, my main complaint is about the tactics. Most matches I just sit and watch, since the tactical options are very limited, not much to change that would have a big impact on changing the course of the match. While I don't know much about rugby IRL, I highly doubt that those are the only tactics managers have at their disposal. ---------------------------------------- EDIT: I've searched closer and THERE ARE ways of affecting the tactics. Selecting "Ad Lib" instead of "Structured" for attacking and/or defending tactics, you are presented with a screen where you can choose from 5 forwards moves and 4 backs moves. They are coded A...E (A...D respectively) and you can see what they mean by holding the right click on their squares. This improves my opinion on the game, although I still find the approach to tactics quite limited and cumbersome. ---------------------------------------- Then: there's no interaction with the press and with the players individually, other than sending them to individual training session. You can't actually see the chemistry in the locker room and on the pitch, you can't see if and why you are liked or despised. There's some reputation indicator and some emails from the GM adjusting their support to your results, but not more than that. Also, during a match, I hardly see any kicks from my team or the opposition and the lineouts... well... let's just quote Nigel Owens here: he's straighter than 90% of the throws and still there are no penalties. Overall, it's a great *start* of a game development, but there is not very much to do so that you actually feel engaged or make any difference for your team. Many things are just automatic, outside of your control. But again, it feels like there is a will and there's definitely a way to make the game better. I'm rooting for it.
Bon Jeux
Bello tutto
Il n'y a pas de licence de top 14 et il est trop compliqué de télécharger des packs pour remédier à ça...
So far this game has had too many bugs for an enjoyable experience. I've tried a lot of fixes and none of them work. I hope the developers fix these issues, if they do it will be a fantastic game! Until then its virtually unplayable. EDIT: Things have gotten better with some minor updates fixing a lot of bugs. Its still a game i wouldn't buy for this price and its not updating or improving anymore.
