Забавно, что в этой игре есть режим, который идентичен по геймплею вышедшей намного позже Rocket League. А так, в эту игру наверняка весело играть с живыми людьми, но игроков нет. А с ботами играть не очень интересно.

Ця гра - дуже спрощена версія Rocket League та фанового рейсингу на кшталт Mario Kart. Головний її мінус в тому, що вона повністю мертва і грати залишилося лише з ботами. Другий недолік, але не менш вагомий це простота усього наявного в грі. Хоч тут і 20 різних карт та близько 4-5 різних режимів з вище зазначених ігор: футбол на авто, баскетбол, хокей, перегони, арена на вибивання з карти, але виконані вони всі так собі. Постійна необхідність хапати бустери, щоб просто поворушити м'яч/шайбу, криве використовування різної зброї у гонках, коли ти намагаєшся кинути бомбу позаду себе у переслідувачів, а вона відразу вибухає, бо потрапила в тебе, непрацюючі кілька досягнень. Я не певен, що навіть будь я дитиною до 10 років, мені б хотілося в таке грати у наш час. Є куди більше веселих, цікавих, а головне живих ігор.

Vou contar uma história mas só 1 vez, então preste bastante atenção. Toda vez que você acorda, você deve a este jogo. Toda vez que você pega o onibus ou metro para o trabalho, você deve a este jogo. Toda vez que você se apaixona, se decepciona, cheira uma flor, vence uma partida online, compra pães na padaria, cada vez que você sobe uma escada, vê estrelas no céu, enfim, cada piscar de olhos seu você deve a esse jogo. Eu e alguns amigos descobrimos que a Galaxia inteira se mantem seguindo seu fluxo por conta do Zero Gear. Assim, todo ano, no dia mais proximo do fim do ano possivel, todos nós abrimos nosso jogo e jogamos algumas partidas. É fácil duvidar de tudo isso, você na verdade nem precisa se preocupar por alguns anos, mas nós, Guardiões do universo não somos imortais, e infelizmente, no dia que o ultimo de nós se for, tudo o que conhecemos será apagado, e nenhum sinal que a raça humana existiu será perceptivel, e assim, será como se nenhum de nós nunca tivesse existido. A única forma de contornar isso é convencer mais pessoas a jogarem 1 vez por ano, no fim do ano, algumas partidas de Zero Gear. Estejam avisados.

By this I mean that acceleration is too fast, steering turns too much, and driving ends up chaotic due to the lack of control. But yet, there is no thrill of speeding when you jam down on the booster. You get reminded that you are driving a toy car. The devs left out all the visual tricks that could create the illusion of speed. [*]The gameplay is actually fun. Game modes are unique. Dropping toy cars down a pachinko machine and watching them bounce around till they drop into the score buckets below is strange but creative. [*]And there are the sports modes. I wonder if this game could have been an inspiration for Rocket League. You get to play Soccer, Rugby, Ice Hockey and Basketball. Collect power-ups on the field which give you moves such as giant boxing glove punch, summon tornado, mine drop, and more! [*]The problem with the otherwise fun sports modes is that the ball hitbox is weird, and the abovementioned car handling issues make it frustrating to play. [*]Going back to the racing mode, the free speed boost for players lagging behind while the 1st guy gets almost nothing is so unfair. This is a game design choice prevalent in other racing games too. The idea is to increase player interaction for a more exciting game, but throws skill out of the window. [/list] [h1]Art & Graphics ★☆☆☆☆[/h1] [list] [*]Graphics is bad. Though released in 2010, normal maps and global illumnination already exist at that point. No excuses for terrible lighting and texturing. [*]Art style is a mess. The devs can’t decide whether they want a toys racing game or a life-size racing game with actual cars. [*]The same cars end up going through makeshift tracks constructed from cereal boxes and stationery, to stadiums with cheering crowds, to freefalling down pachinko machines. [*]And oh my, the color palettes. Those outdoor tracks that follow real world colors are fine, such as the wild west ones. But the others are just pure rainbow disco, and it’s not a compliment. I seriously wonder how those highly-saturated triadic color schemes got approved. A literal kid made it. A literal kid! It is ridiculous that a game that lets you shoot weapons backwards doesn’t allow you to see behind. [*]And yet switches to back view when reversing? The perspective change is so disorienting. No racing game does it except this one. [*]Lastly, MB2 mouse-look isn’t working. I suspect that this might be how the devs intended players to look behind, but it’s broken. I love this game! As with all Kart racers, it isn't about perfect physics simulation, but fun and charm, and this game delivers in spades! It takes a little getting used to, because once you are in the air you cannot steer (unlike most Kart games), but you *CAN* still turn your wheels, so you have to pay attention, because if you try to turn left in the air, when you land your wheels will be facing left and will suddenly bite as you land. While there are your standard race tracks where you shoot each other with fun weapons, my favorite game modes are not the races. One game mode has you playing Soccer, and it's basically like a Kart version of Rocket League. It's hilariously fun in a group! Another mode is kind of like Plinko from the Price is Right. You drive off a ramp, fling yourself down a hole, and try to land on something good. Any time you are touching a peg, you can try to jump and redirect your movement, but other than that it's down to gravity to see what you'll score. Lastly, there is a Skiiball mode where you drive off a ramp and try to land in one of the holes worth points. It's great clean fun to play with friends or kids, and you can buy a 4-pack cheaply. Huge recommendation from me!

Looks nifty and has a cool arcady soundtrack as well as some customization options for your car. However, it takes a long time to load a lobby. The steering physics are bad. There are also no people around. I can see the appeal, the potential for wacky fun is there. And Im sure back in its day it could have been fun. Nowadays its a pass. 2/10
