Roxy Raccoon

I bought this on a whim after having so much fun with Pinball Panic. This isn’t normally my type of game, but I was curious on learning a bit more about the game that that was based on. While I haven’t beaten the game quite yet, I’ve enjoyed my time with it so far. The developer seems communicative and has been active in addressing people’s concerns which is quite nice. [h1] The Good: [/h1] [list] [*] Game is massive. [*] Cheap price point. [*] Charming characters/story. [*] Great for newcomers to the genre. [*] Wide variety of levels/landscapes and minigames. [/list] [h1] The Bad: [/h1] [list] [*] Some of the music isn’t for me but there’s still definitely a few bangers in the soundtrack. [*] Found a few bosses to be fairly difficult. [/list] [h1]TL; DR: [/h1] A charming game and a great entry point to the genre. I would recommend this to newcomers to 3D platformers as well as veterans looking for something a little different. It isn’t a Spyro the Dragon or Mario Odyssey, but it is a lot better than some of the other indies on the market. Great for the price.

A nice little causal collect a thon platformer. Some things I liked about the game were as follow -Every single level in this game is unique and different. My personal favorite level is the rooftop level where its structured like a point A to B type of level, but there are side collectibles you can grab as you go down the main path. And my second favorite level is the highway level where you have to dodge cars and grab key items at the same time. The levels are certainly creative -Music is pretty nice and fits well. -a good handful of clothing options for you to collect and try out. From hats to skins. -Art style has a nice simple polygon look to it. Reminds me of Spyro Now for some of the things I didn't like -The polish of the game is not so great. Animations and sound effects are where you can notice this the most. Some of the sound effects even scared me a little bit due to out of nowhere they appear. -After a bit of play, some of the usual aspects of a level got very boring to me personally. Despite how a level could change the formula a bit. (But this is just my personal opinion) But overall, I would recommend this game. But If i were you, i would wait for a sale. It is for sure a nice small game :)

PS1 Spyro with raccoons

A fun adventure and collection game. You play as Roxy the Raccoon, find gems and hidden treasures while stopping evil that plagues throughout the lands. Can you bring peace to Roxie's world?? Lots of customization and the visuals are awesome. The soundtrack is a bit of a ear bug!

I have to admit when I first saw this game I was a little perplexed and more than a little bemused by it and I was a little worried if I'd like it... I do! It's a superb little game, seems to have a plethora of content, runs beautifully and controls really well! The music is great and the audio is also very well done. The animations, the story and the general look of the game are also really nice and the ability to climb almost anything in sight is a huge plus for me. I would highly recommend this game and I must admit that for the price it delivers really well indeed! As a slight side-note as well to anyone who may have this issue: If you have a wireless controller and the game stops registering the controller, try plugging it in. This will fix that issue and it could even be an issue with just myself but I'd rather post it here as people might have this issue. Better safe than sorry!

This game is fun. Good for if you're just hanging out with some friends and feelin a nice kinda walk and talk game. I am now curious about the other games made by this creator. As there are the seedlings for some cool stuff in this game. I am in no way also biased by Roxy Raccoon also being a name I use.

En soit, le jeu est pas trop mal : il a des idées mais c'est très brut de décoffrage. le gros du jeux va être de récupérer des items mais les niveaux essayent de proposer différents défis et de se différencier les uns des autres pour pas que ce soit trop répétitifs. je recommande car le jeu, en soit, est correct, il peut vous occuper vous ou votre enfant quelques heures et qu'il me semble que c'est le 1er jeu d'un solodev et je me demande si ce n'est pas son premier.
