Well well well, what do we have here? A Tilt-Labyrinth style game? I honestly didn’t think I would enjoy one on PC. I used to play these on mobile but never on the computer. I’m rather impressed by what we’ve got. The Good: Solid/tight controls and gameplay. Powerups and boss battles make this a unique entry to the genre. Comes with an in-game level creator/editor that is powerful and easy to use. Packed with loads of content, there’s bonus stages as well as those in the story. Minigames/Arcade is diverse, I’ve only played a handful though. Unique environments, great music & sounds. Don’t need previous experience with the franchise to enjoy this one. The Bad: Story is a bit basic, but nothing cringy or awful. One of the boss battles drove me bonkers. TL; DR: Much better than what I was expecting. I was sceptical when I saw the style of game, but I was intrigued knowing the quality of the developer’s previous games. Recommended for fans of the genre or fans of Roxy, you don’t need to play the previous games to appreciate this one.
Nothing like starting off a day by smashing a boulder into a cute raccoon :) What a wonderful collection of modes and mini games! I don't typically play these types of games but i decided to give this one a chance, and after i realized i could play with the mouse instead of the keyboard (duh), everything got a lot easier and by the fifth or sixth stage i was zipping around the table. The thing i really like is the game starts off slow and begins layering in more challenging pieces into each stage, and just when you think you figured everything out it throws a curve ball at you. Love the concept of how the game is so varied but still centered around physics-- and by the time I was a few stages in I was really rooting for this little furball to make it to the end of each level. I was actually thinking during one of the story stages that it would be fun if this had a time trial, and then i went back to the main menu and BAM there is a time trial. One final note, the music is really good, there would be some really mellow songs for the easier stages and then when a more challenging level began it would really crank it up a notch, its nice when the developer really nails the music and this one did, makes playing so much more enjoyable!
Roxy Raccoon 2: Topsy-Turvy is a charming and inventive indie puzzle-adventure that confidently pivots away from conventional platforming and instead builds its identity around physics-driven tilt-maze gameplay. Rather than simply iterating on its predecessor, the game reimagines the series with a bold mechanical shift, asking players to guide Roxy through a series of three-dimensional labyrinths where gravity, momentum, and environmental awareness are the primary challenges. This design choice immediately sets the tone: the experience is less about fast reflexes and more about precision, patience, and spatial reasoning. At the heart of the game is the act of tilting entire stages to roll Roxy through hazards, narrow pathways, and moving obstacles while collecting gems and power-ups. The controls feel deliberate and tactile, capturing the sensation of classic physical labyrinth toys while expanding the concept with digital flexibility. Each level introduces new twists—rotating platforms, shifting terrain, enemies, and interactive elements—that prevent the core mechanic from becoming stale. The game steadily layers complexity, ensuring that later stages require not only careful control but also planning several moves ahead to avoid costly mistakes. Level design is one of the game’s strongest features. Environments are varied and thoughtfully constructed, with distinct themes that introduce unique mechanics rather than simply reskinning the same ideas. This variety keeps progression engaging and gives each new area its own identity. The levels are compact but dense, encouraging experimentation and rewarding players who take the time to explore alternate routes or master tricky sections. Importantly, the game avoids harsh punishment; falling or failing rarely feels demoralizing, allowing players to retry challenges without losing momentum. Beyond the main progression, Roxy Raccoon 2: Topsy-Turvy offers a surprising amount of additional content that greatly enhances replayability. Arcade-style challenges, time trials, and procedurally generated mazes give players reasons to return even after completing the story. The inclusion of a full level editor and Steam Workshop support significantly expands the game’s lifespan, empowering the community to create and share custom mazes. This creative freedom elevates the title from a finite puzzle game into an evolving platform for experimentation and user-generated challenges. Customization adds a light but welcome layer of personalization. Cosmetic unlocks allow players to dress up Roxy in various outfits and styles, providing a fun incentive to collect gems and complete optional objectives. While these changes don’t affect gameplay, they reinforce the game’s playful tone and make completion feel more rewarding. Achievements and leaderboards further encourage mastery, particularly for players who enjoy refining their performance and competing for better times. Visually, the game embraces a colorful and approachable aesthetic that complements its mechanics. The environments are clear and readable, which is crucial for a physics-based puzzle game where visual clarity directly affects success. Animations are expressive without being distracting, and Roxy’s personality shines through small touches that give the character charm. The soundtrack supports the experience with upbeat, unobtrusive music that enhances focus rather than overwhelming it, while sound effects provide satisfying feedback for movement, collisions, and successful navigation. Difficulty is handled with care, striking a balance that makes the game accessible to newcomers while still offering depth for experienced puzzle players. Early stages serve as gentle introductions, while later levels and optional modes test precision and consistency. Boss encounters provide a change of pace, blending puzzle-solving with timing and awareness, but they remain consistent with the game’s overall design philosophy rather than introducing abrupt mechanical shifts. Overall, Roxy Raccoon 2: Topsy-Turvy is a confident and well-crafted puzzle game that stands out through its commitment to a clear, playful concept and its willingness to expand that concept with meaningful content. It succeeds not by overwhelming players with complexity, but by refining a single idea and exploring it from multiple angles. For players who enjoy physics-based puzzles, creative level design, and relaxed yet engaging gameplay, it offers a warm, thoughtful experience with far more depth than its cheerful exterior initially suggests. "Roxy Raccoon 2: Topsy-Turvy" is a fantastic game about building wealth and prosperity in a world full of cute and mischievous raccoons. From the first moment I saw the adorable artwork and clever gameplay mechanics, I was hooked. I love how the game encourages strategic thinking and careful planning, while also allowing for some silly and unpredictable moments thanks to the raccoon characters. As I played more and more, I found myself becoming increasingly fascinated by the raccoons themselves. Their nimble paws and sharp minds reminded me of my own tendencies to hoard shiny objects and sneak around at night. I started to identify with them on a deeper level, almost as if I too were a raccoon in human form. The way the game captures the essence of raccoon culture is truly impressive. From the way the raccoons scavenge for resources and build their empires, to the way they interact with each other and with the human townsfolk, everything feels authentic and true to life. It's no secret that I have a soft spot for raccoons, and "Roxy Raccoon 2: Topsy-Turvy" has only reinforced that love. I find myself daydreaming about playing as a raccoon in real life, scurrying through the forest and gathering shiny trinkets to add to my stash. All in all, "Roxy Raccoon 2: Topsy-Turvy" is an absolute delight of a game that will have you smiling and scheming in equal measure. Whether you're a die-hard raccoon fan like me or just someone looking for a fun and engaging experience, I can't recommend it enough. So go ahead and give it a try – who knows, you might just discover your own hidden raccoon obsession along the way!
Better than the previous games made by the creator/studio. Adore the music styles and the game play is fun just don't try to play with a trackball mouse... if you manage to win with a trackball than you deserve extra props. :D The colors and graphics are great and there's a lot of customisation available. The story is interesting again and continues on before. Could use without witch's in it but that's just a me thing lol. Definitely a lot of rewards to keep you playing with extra customisation that can keep you getting more out of the game for your money which is good. Lots of stuff that feels extra.
Sexy Australian voice make Roxy go BRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I didn’t think I’d actually enjoy playing one of these games without it being on a steam deck, switch or mobile device. But here I was playing with a keyboard and mouse and I got hooked. The powerups and special gimmicks add a lot of variety and the game offers a unique story with a decent amount of content. The level editor is nifty too.
Come for the Roxy, stay for the gameplay. Yes, that’s right, the main reason why I bought this was because Roxy is so darn cute and loved playing the old games with my daughter. We loved this one as well! I haven’t played one of these style games in years but this game takes it to the next level! It’s a ton of fun! I love the arcade mode too! We’ve spent just as much time there as the main game so far, the minigames are just so fun! Developers, please make a WarioWare or Mario Party style game next!
Another eye popping arcade game from Sinomod Studios! Levels start from easy and work their way up in difficulty. Multiple game modes to try out. Lots of customization to your own Roxy Raccoon, just like the other Roxy games. You can even create your own level! Definitely recommend this game! Fun for the whole family!
