If they fix 2 things it could be good game 1. Loading times makes it unplayable 2. Making more than 1 action during your move, just 1 action makes it pointless to save cards for endurance and you cant set some really nice moves. Buffing debuffing and everything else is not needed since raw damage outweights everything when you have just one action to play

Has some fun aspects, but the slow loading times (not sure why this is on single player) gets old pretty quick. I will continue to play as i tend to enjoy these type of card 'adventures' for mellow game play. Overall worth exploring but still needs a lot of work.
I’ve been playing Roun for quite a while now and I’m still very much enjoying it… It’s my type of game. Prior to the original early access release on Stream the game was reasonably paced (server response wise) not the fastest but far from been a major issue. However with the first release on Stream the one major issue that quickly appeared was an increased in server response time, an issue that could only be fixed by the developer spending more money on server capability, money that they clearly didn’t have. This was the main issue behind most of the negative reviews early on. The solution was to convert the game to a single-player (client side) version (at least in the short term) and this was very quickly completed. The new single player version is the one now on Stream. At times some may still notice a slight delay at some stages of the game but overall the speed is now excellent. A few tips I can give out: 1. During battles you don’t have to wait for the card aminations to complete, you can press “Next” right away. 2. Shiny Runes are rare and as such I suggest you used them on weapons only, the extra power is far more valuable then the extra health you will gain from using them on armour 3. The class quests are very useful and you should try to complete them as soon as you can. 4. You can save a lot of money by using the Teleport runes (that you receive as random drops) to move around the map. 5. Save you gold to buy Rings (one for a selected class at each of the towns). 6. Never flee a battle, this will cost you gold, it’s better to let the battle complete in a defeat then either recall back to town or try the lowest level battle in the current zone and rest each of your characters during that battle. The game continues to improve with bug fixes and new content coming out at fairly regular intervals.
Попробовал. + музыка + есть досточно классов + есть квесты -- долгие загрузки - шрифт не понравился - порог вхождения достаточно тяжелый - половина экрана занимают кнопки действий - автобитва с слабее противником гарантирует проиграш
(Disclaimer: I played this game at a local convention where it was being presented, and learned a lot about the overall design and direction behind the game.) So I'm going to preface this as follows: I recommend this game to try, given that it's free and virtually no size at all to download. I recommend that, if you're not happy with it, you keep it in your library and consider it in the future as it gets more development. It's still early access, and the developer is very actively reaching out to the community to develop new solutions to existing problems. With that said, as every other review mentions, the gameplay is hard to stomach at times due to the long load times as every player action is run through the game server. But the game has a wide selection of content, story, mechanics and opportunities, and I look forward to playing more and seeing the game develop down the line. The production behind this game clearly has had a good deal of thought into it and will continue to be supported, and for a free-to-play deckbuilder on Steam; that alone is worthy of note, and worthy of at least a look.
My only complaint with this game was the slow loading times, but that has been resolved with a recent patch. Roun is a very fun game with a lot of ways to customize your playstyle whether it be through upgrading cards, equipping different armors, or crafting weapons with special effects. The difficulty is consistent throughout the game, with easier areas being more accessible compared to harder areas. There is also a good balance between offensive and defensive/support cards, and none of them seem to overpowered or underpowered. Finally, the music is atmospheric and fits the mood of each area well.

Roun, it seems pretty neat so far. I dont often see card based RPG styled games quite like this. The game is in early access so is not yet content complete and runs somewhat rough with long load times, but if you are interested It is free to try. I would keep an eye on it.
