I got to 188 turns out of 240 when the game froze up. It will not allow me to harvest the pasture. I played for a total of 7 hours only to have the game lock me out of finishing the story line. This is the most frustrating thing ever. I could work past the few minor issues with the game but for this to happen is completely unfathomable. This is a failure of the game developers and a complete waste of my time and energy. DO NOT PLAY if you like to finish games.
I really wanted to like this game but unfortunately I did not. It is a turned based game and I cannot stand those anyway let alone putting it into a farming game. The games does have some nice management aspects to it and some nice depth that would be cool if FS22 would put into the game. It has the ability to get grants as well as getting insurance to cover loss of crops. Those 2 items would be a great addition to the FS game if you could lose crops to do damage of weather or if you decided to drive on you field killing all the crops to collect the insurance money. If this game was not a turned based game and more like Farm Manager 21 I might actual play this game but the way it is now I will be deleting it as soon as I finish this.
Before I played Roots of Tomorrow, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
It's an interesting concept, but the game balance is completely bonkers. On all of my test games I went into insane debt very rapidly, and the game doesn't seem to care. There's also really not much choice aside from which crops to plant, because you can't choose to, for example, just not protect your crops with pesticides, it forces you to do all the farm work before the next turn. Promising concept, not so good execution.
