Roots of Pacha

This game is amazing. It's cozy, and has all the mechanics you could only use mods for in Stardew. ANimal breeding; animal taming; the ideas..this game is so good, its crazy. best purchase ever.

This game often gets compared to Stardew Valley simply for being a cozy farming pixel game, but it has its own elements that separates from any other game. There's a lack of combat in the cave systems and places where you'd expect monsters and such. I kind of enjoy that and find that it adds a bit of realism to the game. It's also what makes this game cozier than others. Maybe there is combat but I've only made it to Fall of Year 1, so there's plenty more to do! I only started playing recently after the 1.3 update and I'm surprised I've put almost 30 hours in and I'm about to put in more :)

Stardew Valley walked so Roots of Pacha could run! I love everything about this game! It's an upgrade to some of the small things that bothered me in Stardew. There's a more cohesive story, so it feels less like endless grinding, the cave system is rich and each room is different, with different puzzles and totem powers to earn. My favorite part? You don't have to save up forever to get enough iridium to make sprinklers. A similar item, called an olla, is made available much sooner. There are also things I would never have thought of but that I love, like being able to have a gate open and close automatically when you go through it.
