A pretty good little narrative themed around "Roots", with some puzzles, a simple but neat artstyle and a heavier story than I expected. Pretty good job from the dev, keep up the good work! P.S.: To explain the dev's comment on this review, it used to be negative due to a bad softlock. But I've change it to positive since the dev quickly fixed it, and I enjoyed the rest of the game :D

10\10 amazing, short but sweet. keep it up. this game is amazing. and on top of the story and little characters, way mental health is talked about is cool, and the puzzles where very unique.
Great game not long but long enough to understand the story serious concept and just a great feeling of helping a guy out with his problems. Definitely would recommend this game if you suffer or someone you know has suffered with depression and alcoholism
The moral of the story is ♥♥♥♥ you if you suffer from alcoholism or substance abuse. Brave message that needed to be said. Unfortunately there is forced stealth and artificial difficulty. 3/30
a short story platformer. its pretty good. i could definitely play something like this again.
A deep thinking trip through the doors of perception.
"I know writers who use subtext, and they're all cowards." For a 48 game jam, it's not half bad. I wouldn't recommend it though, because of its MANY flaws. Without getting into spoilers, I like concept of the game with these characters exploring a man's psyche. But, the dialogue is pretty on the nose for me, it's just a bit too much. The puzzles and platforming are pretty simple, with a few problems. There's an inconsistent puzzle mechanic with the large buttons which doesn't impact much. The bouncy mushrooms are the only mechanic that isn't explained and it's the hardest to understand (you need to hit jump to not get launched higher???). Lastly, this game has no sound or music, and two steam achievements which don't function.
I'd like to play a full game version. Keep doing
