My biggest issue with this game is the fact that you can't manually save, nor are you really able to tell when it auto-saves, which it does. It's so frustrating because you can only start a new game or continue from the last auto-save, but you cannot see or access the saves you have. I also find the death screen and one of the puzzles kind of a letdown in visual quality compared to the rest of the game - it's quite pixely, so it's a bummer. The wolf has a really hilarious up-and-down wiggle, which it does sometimes when you're hiding from it, and makes it hard to take it seriously, but the sound effects from the wolf are great! I do wish there were more music because it just loops the same song over and over. The sound effect for running around, especially in the cave, is well-made. I also wish there were more sound effects, such as for the cat or the jumping teeth things. It's a very simple and short game, which in its own way is intriguing and different from anything I've played before. I also enjoyed the plot, which is why I was so sad when the ending was just...rushed? All you get for either ending is 2 slides of text... I wish there were more thought and effort put into that. It is free, and if you can look past some of the cons mentioned above, I would consider giving this game a go!

I can see many hours went into this project and I really commend the devs, but this could have been a good bit shorter and it would have been more memorable. It's free, so I can't complain, but I wouldn't recommend it to a friend either. Why? Well, the environments are unecessarily large and empty, maybe to pad out time, but by the second playthrough (to see both endings) you'll be very annoyed. There's many other small things that would need fixing - the low resolution assets, the often inconvenient position of hiding spots, the run speed not matching the run animation, the game of simon being fixed, the convoluted wording of the potion puzzle, the obvious ending... None make the game bad, but it ends up suffering a death by a thousand paper cuts. Despite my thumbs down, it's worth a play if you are curious.

I think this is a fun take on Red Riding Hood, and I like that you can guess the ending if you know a little bit of French. I like the art style and the character designs, and the mechanics are simple enough. I'm not really a fan of the frogs, and the mechanics aren't necessarily as clear as they maybe should be. But, for a free game with two endings, I did enjoy my play of it. I'd like to see more games in this style but a little bit longer/with more mechanics, mini games, or interactions. Interested in seeing how the next game by these devs plays.
super cute and fun game
Very cute game, totally recommend for a quick playtime!
