"Same encounter, different world." Moon is a young woman who lives an ordinary city life as an office worker. However, because she suffers from depression, she reacts and deals with things in a way that is very different from regular city folk.

It is good for people who never struggled with such, to learn. I agree with the other review, however the explanations are needed for those people LOL. Even then, it would be hard to get one to play a game let alone read a paragraph on depression. Maybe a friend or sibling would play. For experience, it covers daily life pretty well, time passing. The focus part is great to be represented! Most people don't understand or know of that at all. It's not only thoughts, sometimes just blank fog, you can't think. Personally, this could've showed a more severe case with trauma behind it, character sick in their own flesh, petrified of others & just wants it to end, to really capture the horrors of depression. Maybe include substance abuse, SH; it goes hand-in-hand. But, for typical depression that's just there, with no crazy embedment, it's pretty good! I like the drawings + calm voice!! It is a pain to play, but that's the whole point. The mouse part clicking continue for me is the hardest, it's so off-set. But continuing with depression is the same. Thank you for spreading awareness & capturing the general experience, while showing it's cost.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's not a bad game by any means, it was clearly made with lots of love and the purpose is clear. It's just such a chore to get through. Room of Depression really just feels like a school assembly. I felt like the discussion of depression was surface-level and while it may be informative to some, at times it feels like saying "The ocean has fish in it" for 20 chapters. The minigames are alright and I believe they may meaningfully show what it's like to live with depression..... And then the narrator explains what the minigame means and you just realize you aren't allowed to think too much about what's happening. You just get told. I really dislike the "tunnel" sections. This game is one of those ones that is more "tell" than "show", when I think this kind of topic really should be the "show" sort. Also the whole "recovery" part really could've been done differently and been longer. Recovery is not an easy process and I believe a longer section would have benefited in terms of the "have compassion" message. Maybe good for people who aren't depressed at all, but these days, who isn't? lol
Its kinda... Meh. I feel like this game lacks the depth it thinks it has. I like the idea that each chapter is its own exploration of what depression can do and cause, but at the same time, it feels like its trying to tell a personal story, but rather than giving in, it sort of blurrs the line between being abstract or narrowing in on the narrative. I think this game would be a lot better if it would dare to dive deeper into the personal struggles this character's going through. And then reflect after each chapter, why it is so hard, either in an abstract or straight up way; depending on what route the game would take with said information. But I can't rate it as a bad game. It was fun. Interesting. I just think the direction needs some tweaking. For example, I think this game would benefit if it did something similar to milk inside a bag of milk inside a bag of milk. What I mean by that is either giving in and showing how our character struggles in a much more intimate and darker way, or making us see the world through her lens. Yeah, we see her thoughts and we somewhat touch on her struggles in her daily life. But since we never really delve into either, it can sometimes come out as flat.
