good game it takes a very long time to learn how to play and do tricks but great game would love to see some more maps in the futrure
Really enjoying the game but the time trials and trick rush challenges are not remotely fun. Trick Rush creates a shrinking circle for the player to score points in. In a freerunning and movement game is seems like a very bad decision to confine the player to a limited area for tricking. You end up spamming ground trick moves and look like you're just doing a gymnastics floor routine. The time trials are a bit better, but the skill floor is absurd. There don't seem to be many beginner challenges, and a lot of the routes will require a highly technical jump that will require you to restart the challenge if you miss it. Many of these routes require techniques that the game does not teach you, like sliding, and you need to dig through the games menus to learn them. It feels like the devs and testers for the game got WAY too good at it, so even their "easier" challenges are very difficult. The freeroam is enjoyable, I just wish I had a larger city to roam and explore.

'tis fun
really fun
Long story short: the game has its undercomings, but playing this game with a friend was the most fun I had in years. Highly recommend to give it a try. Sometimes input feels off. Character does something that you didn't intend to do or is conterintuitive to what you expected to happen. Not a deal breaker, just takes some time to get used to movement system. On xbox gamepad the layout of buttons is a bit awkward at first, once again takes some time to get used to it. Also, it's important to notice, that it has a certain skill floor before it becomes fun. Still, playing tag with a friend was the best experience from gaming I had in years. Definitely recommend to give it a try.
Maybe I'm not burning the different controls and move sets into my brain like a bad habit but for a fully released game, the fluidity of the parkour especially climbing and wall running are clunky/heavy as hell. This is a game for Pete's sake put some speed into it but not sonic speed just something more enjoyable and not rage inducing. It don't need to be hyper realistic to this degree but at the same time saw no mechanic/tutorial for ziplines and all I really played was tag with my best friend. Fun fact: Sliding with x gives you a ridiculous boost in speed so I thought that was a cool touch since to sprint with q you need to do tricks and parkour to build the meter which in turn slows you down substantially. Hope this helps. P.S: My build might be off kilter but this is surprisingly a very demanding game, old PC almost had a heatstroke.
The parkour is super good and its smooth as butter
