About
About ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN
Take control of the protagonist Romeo Stargazer in this third person singleplayer action adventure, split into various chapters. His story is both unpredictable and littered with intense battles, interspersed with side missions to suit the player's pace.
A story that transcends space-time
This game's story starts with space-time itself being shattered by a certain incident. Romeo, too, on the brink of life and death finds himself revived by a new kind of super technology. Thus he is recruited for the FBI's Space-Time Police as a special agent, and wanders the cosmos in search of criminals who've taken advantage of the situation at hand in an attempt to bring justice back to the universe. At the same time, he looks for clues concerning his missing girlfriend Juliet, and quickly comes to find both her disappearance and the destruction of space may be more linked than he thought. Donning the mask called Deadgear, what awaits Romeo at the edges of space-time?
Fight blood with blood
Romeo switches between swords and guns to fight. Wipe out the waves of enemies that stand in your path to give birth to a new kind of bloody action, and take down the fearsome space-time criminals that await. Absorb the blood of your enemies to unleash Romeo's special attack: Bloody Summer, capable of turning any situation around. Romeo's various weapons can be strengthened and altered as the story moves forward as he takes on even stronger enemies.

Romeo Is A Peak Man
剧情有点意思,战斗一坨狗屎,boss战没有一个设计得好的,成长浪费时间,游戏优化差
Everything is god tier
The Optimization is god awful, but i cant put it down (Thanks UE5). Suda51 Classic for sure.
This is a weird game to recommend because genuinely, a good half of it is a fun time and the other half is an absolute slog, with a bunch of caveats in there as well. The good stuff: it's a Grasshopper action game, you know what you're getting into. Combat is chunky and gorey as hell, all the weapons feel really satisfying, the bloody summer mechanic works great, and the way you can customize your loadout with the bastards is really good (even if I stuck with the same few for most of the game). The story is insane and the mix of art styles to tell it works well, and the music is superb. The voice acting is cheesy and sincere in the way a silly action movie with this kind of premise should be. If you liked stuff like No More Heroes, it's worth picking up despite the drastically different tone. But the bad stuff. Half of the levels are spent in subspace sections with no combat at all, and very little in the way of even puzzles. The difficulty comes from navigating these areas, as they have no map and almost no defining features. What's worse is, in a very cool but very irritating visual effect, only your immediate surroundings are actually formed as solid ground/walls, and everything else is a floating cube. This looks neat but makes getting around a nightmare (and I think it's what also TANKS the game's performance in these areas, my GPU was running genuinely twice as hard rendering these as it was rendering intense combat encounters). The first of these areas is fine but by the end of the game these things are needlessly sprawling and not fun to deal with. I also really wouldn't recommend playing this on the higher difficulty, at least at first. I did so as I have a lot of experience in hack n slash games and Grasshopper games specifically, but it is not the best way to enjoy it. The higher difficulty just makes enemies massive damage sponges, successful boss fights sometimes took upwards of 20 minutes for me (and that's when they aren't hitting near instant kill attacks with very little windup). Is this objectively good? It's hard to say that honestly, but in the same way half of No More Heroes is a boring slog, this game is better than the sum of its parts. The high octane action and great boss fights (aside from the final one imo) more than make up for the shortcomings of the rest of it. A note as well, this isn't news but this game is optimized horribly. On a 13700F and 9070XT I was barely able to hit a solid 60FPS, and that's with FSR enabled which I would not recommend as it causes awful ghosting in this game in particular. The insane amount of particle physics going on at any given time reeeeeeally bog things down, I tried it on my Lenovo Legion Go and it was unplayable even at max power settings. I don't know that I'd agree with the Steam Deck verified badge as even setting everything to low on the Legion Go didn't get a solid 30, let alone 60, just at 720p.
Vaatividya would die trying to understand the lore of this game.
I had a good time with it. definitely one of the weirdest suda stories, but the game is pretty fun. if you have a good time beating up enemies and using specials and whatnot, you'll like it. the bloody summer move is a bit busted though, you can eventually build it up quick enough to just use it to stay at near full health all the time.
