About
About ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN
Take control of the protagonist Romeo Stargazer in this third person singleplayer action adventure, split into various chapters. His story is both unpredictable and littered with intense battles, interspersed with side missions to suit the player's pace.
A story that transcends space-time
This game's story starts with space-time itself being shattered by a certain incident. Romeo, too, on the brink of life and death finds himself revived by a new kind of super technology. Thus he is recruited for the FBI's Space-Time Police as a special agent, and wanders the cosmos in search of criminals who've taken advantage of the situation at hand in an attempt to bring justice back to the universe. At the same time, he looks for clues concerning his missing girlfriend Juliet, and quickly comes to find both her disappearance and the destruction of space may be more linked than he thought. Donning the mask called Deadgear, what awaits Romeo at the edges of space-time?
Fight blood with blood
Romeo switches between swords and guns to fight. Wipe out the waves of enemies that stand in your path to give birth to a new kind of bloody action, and take down the fearsome space-time criminals that await. Absorb the blood of your enemies to unleash Romeo's special attack: Bloody Summer, capable of turning any situation around. Romeo's various weapons can be strengthened and altered as the story moves forward as he takes on even stronger enemies.

This is silly and weird and fun. I dig it.
Just more of your Suda51 wackiness, if you've played No More Heroes or Killer is Dead you'll love this,
Game is a blast! First Suda51 game ive played and it was definitely a treat
High regards to story telling and gameplay design but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ does this game run bad. It might possibly be one of the greatest games ever if only it preformed better. UE5
PLEASE GHM UNLOAD PARTS OF BIG AREAS ITS BASIC OPTIMISATION AND IT MAKES ENHANCED MAGRUS PLAYABLE Another great action game by grasshopper manufacture, directed by Suda but also Ren Yamazaki who has also taken part in the direction of KiD or NMH3. The main novelty about it is that's it's an adventure game, with character progression that makes it more and more like an rpg; the game is divided in levels with checkpoints that are interconnected through a parallel world system, can't really explain that in detail. This feels like the first ghm game where exploration really matters, as picking up objects like upgrade materials for weapons and searching for hidden badges which give passives when equipped is crucial for progressing (orange chocolate is really hard btw don't feel ashamed to pick a lower difficulty): it's a dark souls style action adventure game, which isn't necessarily a bad thing and the level design holds up. If you've played KiD, you may not be surprised to see that gun gameplay is back. However, I think it's actually worse in this game: the main thing is that some ennemies have weapoints you have to shoot at to deal big damage, however as you progress into the game you'll outdamage that very quickly with melee since guns don't deal a lot of damage and reloading is VERY long. They are also useful for destroying some projectiles or hitting enemies and bosses out of reach, but they feel very lame to play and don't offer a particular advantage other than being necessary. The rotten system is good, although questionable. The bosses are a mixed bag. Some of them have frustrating mechanics even without forced gun use and it's often hard to figure out attacks without being instantly killed. I'm thinking about the final boss in particular, which has a scripted aoe where the only way to deal with it is to spam healing items (afaik.). Again, this is a higher difficulty problem, where they have a lot of health and kill very fast, but still feels like a structural problem. They all have some good aspects though. The graphics are pretty and the game doesn't run so bad thanks to fsr but it has some optimization problems as mentioned. Be sure to turn down shadows and quit and launch the game again before magrus if you're having problems. The soundtrack is quite good and suda makes it quite clear that punk is in fact not dead. Storywise, this is the first triple a self edited ghm game and it shows. Several silver case characters have a somewhat important role in the game and it's a pleasure to see that the sudaverse just keeps going. If you thought nmh3 was bad though, you're not gonna like this game any more. It's the same borderline corny-subversive humor/storytelling (which I don't blame at all btw) that makes for an anticlimactic experience as a whole. And that's ok, because the story is still told and served. Also killer7 fans there's a big surprise at the end of the game. So, overall, it's a window for the future of ghm, a future where they seek freedom and the continuation of what the studio had established. Well, that kinda goes against "kill the past". Or does it ? It's clear that freedom was the most important point about this game's making, and that they're gonna keep seeking this in the future. So, indeed, kill the past of aborted games, dependency and restriction, and on to a new grasshopper. I recommend this game and tbh you don't even have to play other ghm games before though you'll appreciate it more.
Romeo is a Dead Man - пример кривого и устаревшего геймдизайна. Romeo is a Dead Man Romeo is a Dead Man
Another incredible game from Grasshopper. Art & music were incredible and the gameplay was a lot of fun.
