About
About ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN
Take control of the protagonist Romeo Stargazer in this third person singleplayer action adventure, split into various chapters. His story is both unpredictable and littered with intense battles, interspersed with side missions to suit the player's pace.
A story that transcends space-time
This game's story starts with space-time itself being shattered by a certain incident. Romeo, too, on the brink of life and death finds himself revived by a new kind of super technology. Thus he is recruited for the FBI's Space-Time Police as a special agent, and wanders the cosmos in search of criminals who've taken advantage of the situation at hand in an attempt to bring justice back to the universe. At the same time, he looks for clues concerning his missing girlfriend Juliet, and quickly comes to find both her disappearance and the destruction of space may be more linked than he thought. Donning the mask called Deadgear, what awaits Romeo at the edges of space-time?
Fight blood with blood
Romeo switches between swords and guns to fight. Wipe out the waves of enemies that stand in your path to give birth to a new kind of bloody action, and take down the fearsome space-time criminals that await. Absorb the blood of your enemies to unleash Romeo's special attack: Bloody Summer, capable of turning any situation around. Romeo's various weapons can be strengthened and altered as the story moves forward as he takes on even stronger enemies.

Feels like The Killer is Dead on steroids. However it runs very poorly on the deck. Its a slideshow and even crashes. I put up for 5h but its unbearable. Get it on a console or if you have a NASA PC.
Great title by Grasshopper, pretty on the nose narrative for the Kill the Past series but all in all it's a good story. I love the music, combat feels good and every system feels pretty consistent and great. My personal qualms with the game stand with possibly just the port, but this game is really quiet and the mixing on everything seems a little off, I just wish the audio was way better. Also, performance is really hefty, I've got a pretty chunky PC so I was hitting on average 90-120 on very high, but I've heard a lot of people were having problems with this game on their computer, just make sure to set your "Graphics Quality" to medium as that'll just set the resolution scale to 100%. Highly recommended otherwise, please give me the rest of the soundtrack on any kind of streaming service. Amazing work.

Admittedly this game isn't for everybody. It's the same feeling I get when I play a Kojima games. "This is GENIUS...buuuut I probably won't recommend this to friends", I find myself saying quite often. Enter Suda51 and his bat-chit crazy games. I love them. They're easily some of my favorites. But I can remain objective enough to know that not a lot of people will be able to get thorough or see through the "jank". While I may not have any friends that would play this game, I'm writing this review for the person that this game would speak to. Did the trailer grab you at all? Did it seem interesting and you kinda wanna try it? I'd say it's a safe bet then that you'll enjoy it. There is a lot to love if you're a fellow weirdo that enjoys less than perfect gameplay. This is an A or maybe AA game. You can tell it doesn't have the best graphics, the deepest gameplay and it's not terribly long. But what you'll stay for is to experience a genuine work of art. Suda51 does a good job of making the weird feel like it belongs and wasn't put in JUST for the sake of being weird. The combat, while not Devil May Cry levels of action, is actually deeper than what you may initially have expected after messing around with the weapons. The combos and gun play is all par for the course, but each weapon has it's own weight and feel along with great looking attack animations and that's just as true for the guns. Between that and being able to call support from your bastards (actual name) there is enough flavor to keep things fun and interesting. I walk into a room, 2 dozen zombies start running my way, along with a fatty-boom-batty, and some bats. I pop my Tornado Bastard, whom ive recently leveled up to insane levels. The whole group is caught up in my whirlwind taking massive damage while being flung around like rag-dolls. I turn around and whip out my Shotgun and blast the bats in the face, then switch to my rocket launcher and take out Fat boy, then activate my Turret bastard to mop up, and then when it's all said and done, I pop a healing bastard when the fight is over. All your weapons are viable, it's all about what YOU feel comfortable with. I could have kept the Shotgun in hand, and blasted at the Fat Boys weak spots, but I decided a rocket launcher to the face was more fun, and quicker. The story is honestly interesting enough to keep you engaged the whole way through and I have genuinely enjoyed beating a level and getting to my ship and enjoying all the different ways to power up my character. The game does nothing for you, in a good way. You don't level up on your own, you play a mini-game and earn your power up. Same thing with upgrading bastards, nothing is done off-screen. You plant them, you merge them, you un-earth them if you want to upgrade them. There's a lesson in there somewhere. To conclude, if you have enjoyed Suda51's past work, then you'll feel right at home. If you're used to playing AAA games or F2P games, this may seem too odd and janky for you. There's at least a 2 hour window you can use to decide if you wanna keep with it or not. I am personally having an absolute blast with it and I find myself thinking about it often, even when not playing. It's why I love Suda51 games, they stick with you. So whip out that CC and grab yourself this game and see why god made plastic.

Suda51 knocked it out of the park this time. A beautiful culmination of style and substance that he has been struggling to find a balance between. Its killer 7 , ,killer is dead ,No more heroes , Back to the future with hints of Twin peaks all making a delicious curry of fiery creative fury
Romeo is a Dead Man Plataforma: PC com controle. Zerado em: 07/07/2026, em 15,9 horas. Notas: gráficos: 8/10, gameplay: 8/10, história: 7/10, áudio: 9/10. Nota final: 8/10. Entretanto, a otimização deixa a desejar. Durante a campanha, utilizei todas as armas disponíveis. No entanto, passei a maior parte do jogo usando apenas duas delas: as manoplas e a shotgun.
There's about 20 minutes of cut scenes at the beginning, then as you finally get into the game, it interrupts you with a wall of text you have to read and dismiss every 2 seconds. Guys I appreciate the style, just let me play the damn game though
