Rollercoaster Xperience

I try not to give bad reviews because I know it typicall upsets people, but what on Earth was the dev thinking? Let's start with the camera. It doesn't aim along the track, meaning I was sat in a chair and constantly had to turn the chair to face my angle of motion. I've never been on a roller coaster where it turns but I don't. The game starts off without any track, so you're just floating around. The movement isn't always smooth. Sometimes you speed up... other times you slow down, but each time happens in an instant, rather than a smooth transition. Not all the time, but when it happens it's very jarring. At the beginning there's a bear or something, that can't decide on an animation, and keeps changing direction. It's amaturish. When I played it, I was done in about a minute - Bored. But my friend's 6 year old girl on it, and for some reason, every few seconds the game would slow down, allowing her to look around??? Maybe? I have no idea. I thought it was broken so kept pressing buttons to speed her up. In any case, it took her 15 minutes to finish. She loved it. I went to put her dad on the game, and he just refused, saying it looked awful. It looks pretty... but is just really really bad. Like a college student's first attempt at playing with Unreal Engine 4.

Grafisch ok aber ein "Rollercoaster Gefühl" entsteht bei mir nicht. Außerdem empfinde ich den Preis von 2.99 Euro für 30 Sekunden Spielzeit für zu hoch angesetzt. Positiv anzumerken ist, das das Spiel absolut flüssig läuft. Punkte: 4/10

Buena experiencia de montaña rusa, la verdad que los escenarios parecen muy epicos. A todos aquellos que quieran disfrutar de un pequeño paseo entre naturaleza, ruinas y bichos se lo recomiendo. Además, tiene varios momentos que te hacen sentir como si estuvieras en una montaña rusa de verdad. Por el precio que tiene, no esta nada mal.

This rollercoaster is one of the absolute best, if not the best, and also one of the worst VR rollercoaster experiences at the same time. How can that be? Well, it has some really positive things about it, mindblowing even. But it also has some negatives that are difficult to overlook. [b][u] POSITIVES [/u][/b] + Amazing, creative visuals, best in class (flora, fauna, freaking birds look amazing, butterflies, etc.) + smooth experience (no bugs, no visual choppiness, framerate problems) + You can look all around; not just with your head and body, but with control input (keyboard or controller) + You can exit game or reorientate center view (seriously, this feauture is missing in most VR rollercoasters) + good experience to show off VR to friends or family [b][u] NEGATIVES [/u][/b] - very short ride (TWSS) - it's called rollercoaster experience, but you never feel like you are in a rollercoaster, you can't even see the rollercoaster or your avatar (invisible) and you don't even start off on tracks, you're literally floating in the air - no loop de loops, it's mostly about the surrouding visuals - very little replayability after 2-3 rides Sale Price Rating ($1.99 USD) 6/10, this is for VR Rollercoaster Enthusiasts ... doesn't deserve the amount of negative reviews because honestly, it's better than most VR rollercoasters because yes, most of them are bad, but this is definitely one of the better ones despite the obvious flaws so that's why the 6/10 rating

Not worth paying £2.00 for something you may use once or twice

This is what I bought VR for. Unfortunately it's over all too soon. I really hope they make more rides.

My niece likes it. Me having to hold her up in a laundry basket and move her around to make it even more real does not like it. 10/10 would replace my gym membership with this game.

Una experiencia única. He tenido la oportunidad de probar Rollercoaster Xperience antes de su salida, y debo decir que me ha sorprendido gratamente. He probado anteriormente varios simuladores de montaña rusa, y practicamente en su mayoria he sentido sensacion de mareo. Y curiosamente no me ha pasado con Rollercoaster Xperience. He sentido la sensacion en el estomado al ir por una bajada pronunciada, pero ningun mareo. Y es de agradecer en experiencias de este estilo para poder disfrutarlas sin pensar en quitarte las gafas VR. Tiene un diseño que me ha encantado, en todo momento queria observar en todas direcciones para disfrutar de todos los detalles. Totalmente recomendado!!

Pros: - Very Smooth Performance! - Beautiful Graphics! - No Motion Sickness! - Unique! - Price! Cons: - It Ended...I could Ride this thing forever! Awesome! Overall: This is Awesome! Very Good Ride Gets Better if you do it standing up. I have Try it both ways sitting in chair and standing up while standing I felt like I was Flying and it was much easier to stay on Track...Note: I Purchased while on sale and it is Worth it even at Full Price!
