I always worry when there are stack of Day 1 reviews (with only 1 review) proclaiming how good a game is. This is basically a Rogue Tower lite that is much too easy at this time, when you open Flame Throwers - I found myself trying to lose a game (unsuccessfully, while I am enthusiastic, I am not that good) to get out with the upgrade points. I am refunding, but will keep an eye out for future developments as the basics seem to be there.
This is a copy-paste from Rogue Tower, which was already flawed in itself, but at least brought something refreshing to the Tower Defense genre. This game is worse UX-wise. (You have to press a different mouse-button to close every popup from the one you use to open that same popup). This game is still bugged. (Sometimes it won't let you select open roads to expand towards) It feels like a project the developer used to learn how to code, but went ahead and released it thinking "I'll fix things later on.", but never went back to fix anything.
This game has potential, but it's just too slow. You can only double the speed and you even have to redo this every single wave. Also, it's too easy and lacks unique ideas.
Nothing really special about it. Felt too similar to rogue tower and less polished. Refunded it
It definetly worths the price the fact that its replayable till infinity it gives me motivation to come again and play. I highly recommend if you enjoyed rogue tower genre before
Promising tower defence game with Rogulike elements. One of the standout features is the "Expand" mechanic, which adds a fun twist to the gameplay. This mechanic makes you think strategically about when and where to expand your defenses, creating a dynamic experience. Each playthrough presents a new set of challenges as the road layout changes, forcing you to adapt your strategy each time. With some balance, sound, and UI updates, it could become a standout title in the genre.
Great game, one of the best tower defense games i've played in a while! there are some easy fixes thath need to be implemented and as far as i can see the developer has already started hammering those out. 10/10
Rogue Tiles is a brilliant addition to the tower defense genre, combining strategic depth with a refreshing twist. The game excels with its unique tile-placement mechanics, adding a layer of strategic complexity that keeps each level feeling fresh and challenging. Highly recommend!
minimalist tower game ever just perfect
knockoff of Rogue Tower. Thought it might add something new but it is somehow an unfinished clone with a lot of bugs and ux issues
