Simple game similar to the original Asteroids with a dash of roguelite in the form of upgrades throughout the run. The game isn't complicated; you fly and shoot and try not to take damage. That's it. Your upgrades either make your flying faster, your shooting stronger, or your hull more sturdy. Highly recommend turning the screen shaking completely off. Thankfully, the devs made this an option. It's nice to take a step back from overly convoluted systems and divulge in a simple task of pulverizing asteroids.

There's not much to say about this game. It's like Asteroids, but with small rouge-like elements added to it. You fly one of three ships (one strong and slow, one weak and fast, and one balanced) and you shoot asteroids to gather points to move on to the next level. There are special types of asteroids and powerups for your ship's speed, health, and weaponry. All of this can be encountered and beaten in maybe 5 hours. You beat the game with the three ships, unlock hard mode which adds more levels, and then beat the game with the three ships on hard mode. It's a nice little game to pick up and play 10-20 minutes at a time, but that's really the full extent of it.

Upgrades feel impactful whenever you get them, and because of that the currency you use to get them feels like it has worth. Fun little game.
Happy with this. That arcade classic Asteroids collides with resource gathering objectives that unlock warp gates, ship types whose tradeoffs min/max difficulty vectors, and exploration incentivized by the promise of an incrementally improved vessel. Comparisons? Minimalist, wireframe EverSpace with space pinball rock fragments as enemies whose danger is magnified by your own actions. A miniature No Man's Sky-style journey to the center of the universe, optimized for Potato Computers and going for a pocketful of pennies. Upgrades don't appear to carry over from one run to the next, which would have eased the learning curve somewhat. As things are, progression is based on skill and patience. And that's why I'm stuck on Level 3. Good breaktime game, looking forward to seeing what's next from this dev.
I think this game does what it sets out to do really well! It wasn't something that I was immediately drawn to, but intrigued enough to give it a try when it was part of the Jingle Jam humble bundle. It's very addictive in nature, with simplistic controls (I used purely my mouse, with left/right button to aim/stop and it's surprisingly responsive). My only small gripe is that is that the rebounding effect when you hit an asteroid can snowball so fast! A couple times I'd get hit by a particularly fast asteroid and once you do if there's anything nearby you it's possible to ricochet multiple times losing a lot of lives in the matter of seconds, before I was able to regain control. Throughout 'normal gameplay' I didn't have this problem, as the controls really do feel tight. But when things speed up (ie the last level or if you overstay your welcome) it goes from 0 to 100 quickly due to this. After trying a handful of times and eventually beating the game I learned to not attack when this happens, just accept the loss of a couple lives. Whenever I'd attack it to try and quickly get rid of the obstacle I'd become a pinball for even the tiniest asteroid. The game can get tricky but definitely doable, I'm by no means great at these games and beat it with one ship/got to the end twice in less than an hour. If you're looking for a fun 'coffee break' game that can be played in 5-15 min bursts I recommend checking it out! Pleasantly surprised, for sure.
Капец странная игра, но тк она минималистичная, не отталкивает своей задумкой. Аркада.
Simple shooting asteroids, powerup's, different ships, and does it okay. Rating: 6/6
Un bon petit jeu pour passer le temps. Simple et efficace !
