This game has the best decks I've ever handled, since playing this game I've started thinking about decks way more than I should, I just love big decks, the bigger the better tbh.
Kind of torn. I love a good <$5 indie project game, so I'm definitely rating this game from that perspective, but RLDB kind of gives the illusion of choice in your upgrades. It took me 10 runs (~1 hr) to beat the main mode, but it felt like there was never any doubt after the first few runs that it would take about a dozen or so runs to buy the key due to the way the money scaled. That linearity is, to me, the biggest flaw of the game, but otherwise I enjoyed the oddball vibe of building decks for your loving h u s b a n d and trying not to ouch my hand. Somehow for $4 I still feel like I overpaid by like two bucks. Credit where it's due, freedom really was right around the corner.

I don't know what I expected from a game titled as "Rogue Light Deck Builder" but it's a really nice bite-sized experience. It's not superb nor bad honestly but still pretty fun to collect all achievements over a span of few sessions.
Most difficult deck builder on steam
My husband told me that they told them to tell me to build a deck. My husband told me they need to tell me that I need to build a deck. My husband told me I need to build a deck. I built a deck.
I have epilepsy. Periodically I will have muscle spasms in my arms. EVERY. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. TIME. that it happened during this game it was my own personalized 9/11 When I finally got the sub-1300 run I wanted to fall to my knees but I knew it would take effort to get back up so I just sat in my chair drooling on myself. Similar to the Arctic Eggs game, this is another very unique video game experience in the same category as Getting Over It & QWOP. I can finally sleep at night knowing I don't have to boot this up and 100% it still. I do in fact wish this game on my worst enemy.
I don't know, it's a reasonably fun incremental game but even at $4 I feel beating the entire game in 40 minutes just isn't enough game for me to recommend it.
Thank You Loving Husband
