Its cool, but sorta... minimal? The stuff that's here is fun, its just that there doesn't feel like there's a lot of it. I like the controls but haven't tried it on K@B, but people on that are complaining a bunch so try this with a controller. I really like the overall design language feeling very Arabic or just generally Middle Eastern, its a very unique style that helps it stand out. I'm kinda feeling like this is more a demo than a full game, and in 2 years we'll hear about a kickass arcade space sim with complex missions, deep customization, and cool boss fights. But even just an hour in I kinda feel like I've seen the entirety of what this game is about. And its about fighting corvettes and cruisers and their accompanying fighter escorts as you kinda roguelike your way through some different space environments. EDIT BIT: I actually really like the "destroy the starship subsystems for bonus damage" mechanic. Its cool blowing off the nacelles on a cruiser as you zip by. Only issue is that the best secondary weapon that helps you do that is the railgun while the rest of the support weapons feel very anti-fighter focused, which your main lasers deal with just fine. It makes everything else feels kinda redundant. I hope they add new secondary weapons or maybe rework the current ones to give them particular niches. I think it was smart to go for a lower price point, if this cost more than 20 USD I'd say save your money. For 18 USD its a fun little arcade-y space shooter to play in short bursts.

Right , So after playing the game, here is what I think. Pros: Very unique control scheme : The controls have been made where you have full control of your ship along with being able to strafe to have a bit more control while shooting helps Gameplay loop : It's fun, Yes it is currently limited in terms of enemy type and even zone variety , But this can be updated later on. Customization : Honestly, for an early game and more so for the price, It has a good variety and people saying there isn't a difference...Have literally not played it....Because the handling difference is night and day for one. Armour as well helps so much with later and harder stages cause you don't die after one rotation of missiles from enemies. As for cons.... For me personally, I haven't found any so far that I would say would make me not recommend the game. All the bad reviews people make are the same as always "Lack of story , Difficult controls" Etc.... Basically people expecting an indie ROGUE-like needing to have a story or expecting to have controls where you press one button and win the game... All in all for me it's a good 9/10 And as more time goes by and the game is updates along with a maybe multiplayer. The potential is there. For the price tag, It is worth it.
Incredibly fun gameplay. The game mechanics are fast-paced and the space combat feels good on both the Steam Deck and PC. The enemy ships and configurations are varied and I found the hardest difficult a fun challenge. I think there's a lot here to build on and look forward to seeing what comes next.
Artistically the game is breath of fresh air and the music (and mixing) is just beautiful. I'm quite enjoying the gameplay too even though I still learn.
A fun arcade romp in a genre I miss. At times it feels like meditation dogfighting in space and challenges me to perfect my flying skills that have been rusty for so long. If miss the old space dog fighting of yore it's definitely a space combat game for people who love space combat and one you need to take in over time.
Ever dreamt of being piloting a fighter through space like Luke Skywalker? Rogue Eclipse gives you a chance to live the dream. Super easy to get into, even on a mouse and keyboard. After a two minute tutorial I was flying through stunning star systems with gorgeous visuals, trying to pull my fighter around like Tom Cruise in Top Gun and gunning down enemy fighters. Recommend giving this a try!
A very tight and action packed game that feels so good to control and play! If you've missed dog fighting games, Rogue Eclipse is definitely for you! There's just enough story to get you hooked and then its relentless action with lot of upgrade paths so there's ton of replayability too!
Its boring and not interesting.
After 20 min and some zones fight ... Rogue eclipse already bored me. Rogue likes elements are just 10% buffs each zones, i have no idea when i will unlock stuff. I did unlock some stuff at my last run but was just some stats modifiers. Also on my last run, an cruise ship spawned inside a meteor and you need to kill thoses (yes, the small units just spawns infinitly till you destroy the big ships) so i couldn't progress. The game need some spices and some bug fixes. I'll buy it again if there is a major rework on the system because rn, i don't see myself put more than 1h into this game.
약간 해봤지만 잠재력은 있어보여도 출시 직후는 애매합니다. 이후 업데이트를 봐야 할거같내요. 우선 할맛은 나긴한대 아직은 뭐 애매하단 말밖에 안나오내요.
