Rocket Knight

I have some nostalgia playing this game on the PS3 from way back in the day. It was as fun as I remembered. It's very short and some of the bosses are a bit tedious (looking at you Wolf King). However, all in all it is a very fun romp that is more than worth the $2.99 it is going for right now. Not sure I would pay full price for this one though.

Every time I look through my Steam Library and I see this game, I get [REAL]. It's been 15 years, and Konami has refused to revisit this series or at least hire a decent 3rd party developer to take a wack at the game. I'm sure there are some small time dev's out there that would love to make a decent Sparkster game, with better visual directions and gameplay; hell maybe even expand on the Rocket Knight mechanics. Sparkster the Rocket is still a great series and can potentially offer so much if it were given a proper chance. Bubsy is getting that treatment right now you know, Konami could easily do the same here and make some real noise, rather than making sub-par re-releases that offer close to nothing new. Oh yeah, don't buy this game. It's sub-par at best, but the art style sucks and probably dosen't work on modern machines.

i loved sparkster for the snes, i liked this one though i resisted at first, the art direction. around the last two levels it starts to really feel more precision oriented. last boss is tough play if you like the rocket knight playstyle, its a fun short time, look for a good deal before buying

É a volta de um clássico, Rocket Knight é um excelente título de plataforma, com uma jogabilidade interessante e desafiadora. Recomendadíssimo!!

This is a fun, short platformer with the occasional side scrolling shoot em up stage. The difficulty (on normal) is very satisfying. I only died 4 or 5 times through the games 4 worlds, (2 of them on the final boss), but I was always very close to dying, and that's just fine with me. If you like classic platformers, this oughta scratch that itch. My only complaint is its hard to hit enemies with your sword without getting hit too, at least on the ones that take more than one hit.

This version of Rocket Knight is not too difficult but also at times not too easy! I enjoyed playing it but it can take only a few hours to beat. 9/10

you may take away an amazing score, intuitive gameplay, and even make the flight feel dull, but nerf the rocket? i cannot forgive. also why is axel red?

Embora não carregue o mesmo carisma do sega genesis ou supernintendo, é um bom jogo e quem ja conhece a franquia fica o aviiso: jogue com nostalgia e alegria.

I have played the other rocket knight games and this one is definitely the worst one kinda lame but the gameplay is still a little fun, but i don't think i would recommend this game. If you want to play rocket knight just pick up the collection from limited run 4/10
