i really wanted to like this game, it looks amazing but the motion blur and sensitivity are awful and non-adjustable, makes the game unplayable :/ it's also really challenging to navigate the menu, there's three options on the main menu; start game, options, and exit. i clicked options and every time it would just decide to exit again. once i finally got in options it was a pain to navigate and the minimal options were kind of a bummer the movement is also super weird. you're either walking at a snails pace or zooming at the speed of light. interacting with objects is just annoying, trying to line it up well enough to fINALLY click on it.. i can't imagine aiming in this game would be at all pleasant.
looks like not bad game but my pc is out of wood
For a student project, this was a pretty alright if very short experience. Gameplay was a bit underdeveloped, with stiff animations and unclear damage to enemies, but it was serviceable. The art style is very obviously based off of Dishonored 2, with several assets being recreated almost exactly, but it serves the setting well and is genuinely well executed. There is no real plot to speak of; you are a detective (?) who is tasked with killing the Jester, the leader of the local robot mafia. You do this. There's no voice acting aside from a blurb at the very start, and if there was music it was not very audible. Controls are set for both controller and keyboard/mouse, and cannot be rebound. The game itself is a fairly bog standard third-person shooter, if a bit imprecise and floaty, but it functions enough to get one through the project. Overall, not bad, certainly a decent way to pass a half hour.
