Please add some more advanced options. The lack of motion blur and mouse sensitivity settings make it almost unplayable for me. I can't comment much on the gameplay as a result, but what i did play wasn't bad, especially considering it's free. But until more advanced options are added I have to not recommend. Edit: I was able to make it through the game by turning the overall settings to low. For some reason that turns off motion blur. The game is very short, however I think it's pretty good for a school project. I think it's worth playing, and I would recommend if the above settings were added.

Robots, Death & Venice fast game with modern day graphics with easy controls that moves from location A to B to C and so on, good amount of action and special effects, good game. Personal Suggested Purchase Price: $0.49 Or Less During Sale
Very epic. Love the art style

So you're probably asking "Just what IS Robots, Death & Venice"???? It's a legitimate question as neither the reviews currently on the store page nor the store page itself make this clear. So I'll state it here, to make it obvious: This is a final project for a collegiate Video Game Production class. That isn't meant to be an insult, it's just the truth. Robots, Death & Venice is an interesting, albeit flawed project. It has a gorgeous character and environment design, so much so that I found myself stopping mid game to just observe the well-crafted flower pots and advert posters. I would love to see more of this setting from this team of artist. Unfortunately, I hope those artists have a better programmer team next time. The game itself is an uninspired third person shooter, with clunkly controls and sluggish flow. Playing this game, it makes one wonder if the class this group had ever had a lecture on "game flow" because it sure doesn't feel like it. If this game wasn't free, I would not be able to recommend it. Because it is free, I cannot in good conscious not recommend it. It's a free, 10 minute game, give it a try. Just know that you're going to get more enjoyment at looking at the robot designs than you will get out of trying to shoot them.
It has potential.

I like it, the game is good, fun and quick tho sadly. There is a lot potential to this game. The art style and the gameplay was fun. And story is not much but is good . The only things that could be improved and would be a welcome cause to the game is: To make the movement bit more smooth and also make it so its bit more normal to run or make the walking speed bit faster. It gets repetitive having to hold shift all the time. That would be in long run. Second thing is make the sensitivity for the game option in the settings. Would be appreciated. I`m looking forward to more of this game ^_^
Awful, awful gameplay. But what else to expect from a controller-oriented shooter? There's the permanent perspective-screwing shoulder perspective, the impractical sensitivity, the tedious, un-stackable transition animations, the lack of carrying multiple weapon types at once. Garnished with insufferably slow walking speed that tires your pinkie into permanently holding Shift to sprint. Oh, also, 3.2 GB installation size. For two-and-a-half rooms, a few streets, and fifteen minutes of gameplay. HOW?? Just what are they teaching at the Barcelona 3D & Film School besides how to clump a few game tropes together and still produce garbage, I don't know.
