Robot King Part I: Rebooted and Ready

I just beat the game on Pur mode, so I think I can write a helpful review (as opposed to playing for 5 min then sounding off because it's too hard). Yes, the game is very challenging at first. Just like old NES games, you're dropped into a world with little explanation about anything. The enemies move faster than you, they do a lot of damage, and not all the terrain is friendly to your robot at first. I can imagine getting frustrated and quitting because of this. If you actually take the time to learn the enemy movement and the terrain, you can use this to your advantage. Careful positioning of your robot is key (it's all about the angles). If you run and gun, you'll die. Once you kill a few enemies though, you'll get enough money to buy upgrades, which allows you to kill enemies easier, which allows you to purchase more upgrades...and the cycle continues. By the end, you can successfully run and gun because of you're boss equipment. This game will certainly not be for everyone, but if you like the feel and challenge of video games of yore, and you have a few hours to kill, then this game will hit the spot.

It's incredibly hard, but most of the difficulty comes from how bad the movement on your little retardbot is - you get caught on every corner and edge you bump up against, and it causes you to stop moving and eat bullets constantly.

Если они говорят, что это плохо, это потому, что сама игра на самом деле не так уж хорошо сложена, ее простая и грубая по краям, но это не ужасно, в нее может быть приятно играть, если вам нравятся вызовы и хочется потратить несколько часов на повторение того, что вы потеряли Снег и вода тоже вредят тебе »

Думал, халявный экшен на стиме - чего бы не скачать, а оказалось, что это такая игра, где тебя хочет убить вообще всё, включая разработчика, судя по балансу . Самое прикольное, что стреляешь ты во врагов, но при этом теряешь здоровье, как будто твой робот решил, что суицид - это новая тактика . Ещё тут есть система с золотом, которое фармить нельзя, то есть если ты потратил всё не туда и сдох, то можешь идти лесом, точнее, перезапускать игру . Я выбрал режим респавна, думал будет легче, а враги после возрождения просто перестали давать бабки, и я остался голым среди этих железяк . Визуально всё выглядит так, будто я вернулся в 90-е на Dendy, но почему-то без ностальгии, а просто с болью в глазах . В общем, если вы мазохист или хотите вспомнить, как это круто, когда игра тебя ненавидит, то валите, а я пошёл чинить свою нервную систему. И если этот обзор наберёт 50 лайков и 10 наград - куплю все дополнения и сыграю 100 часов.
