Fast Movement – Master the frantic movement mechanics in order to run and jump through the levels with evasive maneuvers against the enemy bullet-hell.
Guardian Classes – Choose from several classes: lead your army of drones, blast tons of enemies at once with a powerful rocket or stealth-in for a sudden burst attack.
Build Customization - Create your build along the way with unique sets of upgrades for each class, find powerful synergies and further personalize your playstyle.
Weapon Diversity – From regular shotguns, rifles and snipers to the almighty mortar and flare gun, Roboquest offers a large diversity of weapons to choose from.

The year is 2700. Humans live scattered through the desert, struggling to survive. It’s looking pretty bleak.
Until a young scavenger girl named Max stumbles across an old Guardian robot, laying abandoned in the sand. She reactivates him, knowing that with a Guardian by her side, she may be able to give mankind a fighting chance…
Together, the two begin to explore the mysterious canyons that surround them, searching for answers and a way to survive.
There’s just one problem. The canyons are crawling with evil bots, determined to stop them from advancing. But who are they? And what are they guarding?

Esse jogo não possui um significado emocional como algo que joguei na infância ou algo assim, apenas sou um extremo fã do gênero. E, como fã do gênero, digo que Roboquest é, até então, sem dúvidas, um dos melhores roguelite que já joguei na vida. Descobri o título através da gameplay do Max Palaro no YouTube e, no mesmo instante, me apaixonei pela estética vibrante, pela jogabilidade caótica e estupidamente divertida. Como se não bastasse, a história contada nos registros escondidos em cada mapa é envolvente. Os secretos desbloqueáveis despertam a vontade de jogar várias vezes, consecutivas: ora com pressa para simplesmente aniquilar tudo e todos, ora com calma para desvendar os mistérios da lore e conquistar novas habilidades para a próxima run. Tudo isso me atrai profundamente. É verdade que o jogo por si só é curto, e isso se reflete na variedade de armas e inimigos. Mas essa foi uma escolha consciente dos desenvolvedores: focar na intensidade da gameplay em si ao invés da narrativa. Com o sucesso, eles acabaram cedendo ao apelo dos fãs e trouxeram mais conteúdo em atualizações frequentes, embora esse ciclo já tenha sido encerrado. Ainda assim, o modo multiplayer permanece disponível para jogar. Caí de paraquedas nesse universo agora, depois de toda a trajetória do jogo, e por isso pretendo aproveitar cada detalhe que ele tem a oferecer. More or less Doom Eternal but cute and with more robots. The combat is what makes the game great as it just flows so well with a lot of variability when it comes to your options with classes, weapons, and perks. The challenge is punishing but manageable; took me about 35 hours to beat the game on hard difficulty, but there's still plenty of fun to be had. Well worth it.

This game is a MASTERPIECE. I've played a couple of roguelikes including FPS ones but Roboquest takes it into another level. You have a very fluid Doom Eternal like gameplay with beautiful environments and plenty of items to help you navigate the world. Everything is designed to be robotic which looks very cool. This "robotic design" combined with cell shaded graphics gives you the ultimate artstyle. There are plenty of classes to choose from and each one has different abilities. You can throw javelins, become invincible, shoot rockets from your other hand, grapple towards objects, stomp on enemies or use a jetpack. There are lots of weapons to choose from, including futuristic ones like plasma rifles or orb shooters to classic weapons such as double barreled rifles or revolvers. They all combined beautifully to design your build. There are also lots of damage types and modifiers. There are many possible builds that you can use you complete your run. As you progress through the levels, the gameplay becomes so intense. Not to mention the kicking soundtrack which pumps blood in your veins while you're playing. Especially when you play the game with headphones, you have an amazing experience. I've listened to the soundtrack many times even while I'm walking outside. Overall, Roboquest is the definitive FPS roguelike to date in my opinion. It is the best possible roguelike version of Doom Eternal and it will stay as a classic for years. 10/10
