Roadside Research is a 1 to 4 player co-op gas station simulator. Except you’re aliens. And undercover. Do very human things like restocking shelves while preparing for the invasion. Just don’t get caught.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.43/day in the week to Aug 13 → 13.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Aliens have landed on Earth… to run a gas station. Play solo or up to 4 players and do human tasks to blend in. People depend on you, it’s your job to make sure that the shelves have the correct items, refuel customers passing by, and provide food for travelers. But most importantly, you must conduct your research.
Your mission is simple. Gather all data you can from humans without their knowledge. Scan, steal, and test various methods on customers while they stop by the gas station. Be careful not to raise the “suspicion meter” too high, as that will trigger the visit of government officials.
During the day, take care of the gas station as an ordinary employee. Restock the shelves, order wares for the shop, refuel passersby, and exchange goods for cash. At night you will be able to gather your thoughts, and plan for the next day.
Balance between two missions, upgrading the gas station to attract more customers and upgrading your alien tech to process data and gather information more efficiently. To blend in, draw a very normal human expression on your state-of-the-art disguise.
During closing hours, you can also upgrade the station, inside and outside to make sure everything is going according to plan.
Chaotic solo or co-op fun: Gather friends or play alone to manage the gas station while pursuing your alien mission.
Dual Upgrade Path: Manage upgrades for your gas station and for your alien technology at the same time
Satisfying Simulation: Clean, cook, and stock your workplace with all necessary supplies and items to make sure every customer leaves satisfied.
Alien Deception: Make sure to stay disguised and don’t get caught by human government officials. If you are too suspicious, they will turn you into goo.

The update for the abduction made me not like this game because EVERYTHING needs a battery to be charged and you have to spend a 1,000 alien points to charge the device that charges everything. So that just adds to the bs of stuff that you have to do. If they didn't add that in then I would say sure its fun to play but it completely ruined it. I started up my game and EVERYTHING was dead btw and my character customize was changed up as well making me reselect things and seeing that everything is just meh. Play something else..... Maybe instead of having a battery issues or low iq issuess so you step in to help at the self check how about make it to where idk the name itself is what it does. SELF check out but if we must have an issue to slow players down then bring back the low iq bs and thats coming from someone who hates having to deal with that. The gas station makes no sense needing a battery so they can pump the gas. There was nothing wrong with the gas station self serve. The cleaning robots also need battery which is annoying as heck. If you're like me, have two cleaning robots and two self check outs then you gonna have to be charged 2k of alien points to charge the device (the one they show with the hamster wheel) because you're not gonna be able to charge everything with one use the device so you bring it back to the hamster charge it and wait forever then run around charge the things you need and charge it again because you're gonna need it again. The cosmetics are ass if you're an alt person and the same for the store decor which i was willing to get over hoping they would put more in there but the update with the battery killed any interest in this game for me. I was very excited to abduct people and get the restock robot but I'm not gonna sit here and grind alien points just loose them to keep everything running. I don't know why they decided to add that. I mostly play single player which was already before the update was like running with your head cut off and now there's more ♥♥♥♥ to deal with that doesn't make any fun.

игра не плохая,интересная но есть одно НО игра вылетает не запускается оптимизация калл,а так игра сама по себе прикольная
bardzo fajna śmieszna
not for me
The game is an entertaining gas station simulator. They changed the robots to only need about 20% of the charger when empty and the cleaners will last for about 2 days without recharging. It only needs about 100 alien points to refill one bot. Much better than the 500 points they had it at the first time. No longer have to worry about the self check outs, other than getting dirty or low intelligence life form.
ok
прикольная игра

Was fun before the battery update. They didn't fix it with the next update. Might revisit in the future.
