Plays like a flash game from early 2010s which is not necessarily a bad thing. Game have some nice music going on and a few things that are ok I guess but there're far better games in this genre not mentioning old arcade games. Physics simulation is good and weather effects are a nice touch. Different surface types have affect on your car. You may safely skip it though, there's nothing new to discover here and before gameplay gets to some real speeds it will take a lot of your time. Skip it.
Wow what a little gem, Simple and fun and you can upgrade your cars and buy better cars as the races go on. The ppl that thumbs down this game are ppl that say the cars are hard to handle but i dont think so u just need skill and not just flat out everywhere, All in all i really enjoy this little game. Also it is nice that u can build your own maps to race :)
I've avoided top down racers for years after having some atrocious experiences with other top down racers such as Little Racers & Micro Machines. That said, when I saw that the developers were going to make this freeware, I decided to go for it as it was 90% off and hardly broke the bank. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised at the games play-ability and performance; I generally such at most racing games, more so with top down versions. I even won my first race, with a crafty undertake towards the last few bends of the race. I like the upgrade-ability of the cars and although not my favourite type of racer, I will be playing this again in the not too distant future. Anyone who likes to support developers of games that are worthwhile having, grab this while it's 90% off; it'll only cost £0.71/$0.99. I don't know when the dev's are converting it to freeware, but I'd grab it now for that feel good factor.
Need multiplayer. Online.
Buggy game. I press SELECT on my gamepad while in game and the game froze. It froze my whole Windows 10 system. Couldn't ALT-TAB. Had to shutdown and reboot.
This reminds me of when I tried MS-DOS game programming back in the 1990s. Did 4-player split screen, and tile-based map. Also did rotational-map-view. This game is awesome. The rotational-map-view could be tweaked more with a lagging/delay effect to give smoother turning feel. Can't wait to see online multiplayer implemented!
